  1. Quite an amazing collection, and all very top shelf stuff. Very, very drool worthy
  2. 3714 with gen IWC 79350 movement for Mon:
  3. This thing's back up again? I remember seeing it listed on the Bay a few months ago...
  4. What kind of budget are you working with?
  5. Very impressive work indeed! The end state of the bridges looks great!
  6. There are a few small differences- The pin sizes for the hands being one (subsidiary and center seconds), and I'm not entirely sure how compatible the transfer gearing is to shift the minute counter to 3:00. That's a swap that I rarely hear of taking place, so I can't say for certain.
  7. A 7750 should work, however the 12:00 minute counter would still require the transfer gearing to shift output to 3:00.
  8. I'd like to know as well. So far, all I see are plans to put us so far into debt that my kids and possibly their kids will be paying for a long time to come.
  9. A gen dial is probably of minimal impact aesthetically, but since obtaining one isn't terribly painful, I'll opt to do so out of principle. And since the AR will make the dial even that much more visible, I don't think it will hurt to have it.
  10. The 38mm I bought off the trading forum here. My wife ended up smacking it against something and she cracked the case. The 33mm was purchased from King, who took very good care of me on the purchase Both have/had Miyota Quartz movements. Perfect for a girl, as there's no worry of ever having the PR run out and having to reset it.
  11. ROFL @ comment: ToothFangClaw wrote on 10/08/2009 03:18:03 AM: Finally an ADN story with a little backbone.
  12. Not quite the same kind of red... But still red font none the less
  13. It's purely personal pref. If you like the older style with lug holes, then I see no reason against.
  14. My wife is on her second J12; full, soild ceramic. Unfortunately, the first one we discovered that the hard way... But she's been a little easier on #2, which has yet to be tested on impacts...
  15. j- I think the dial is a limited edition; ref W20134X8, I think? Not MOP, I don't think, but looks pretty nice with those applied markers...
  16. ROFL- Yeah, Dems, it's only 8:07pm MDT here in Denver; but it's Thursday somewhere in the world
  17. Thursday check in- IWC 3714 with gen 79350 movement:
  18. Well, the complicated matter of all this is that there are some so-called low beat 21600bph A7750's that have the same pinions of the highbeat 28800bph A7750's. Not all are created equal, but rather from whatever parts are available I'd imagine. You just won't know which you have until you try fitting the hands on the Swiss ETA. The long and short of it all is- No matter which you have, Zig can modify the hands to fit a Swiss 7750 if it's necessary. He did it on my 3717 when I swapped out to Swiss.
  19. That is why I opted to build my own 16520s using gen EP400's. It was the only way to do it right.
  20. Subdials on the Zenith El Primero 400 are grouped closer together than a 7753's. Zenith El Primero 400:
  21. You need to be an RWG supporter to sell your watches on the forum. Or, you can sell in the Fundraiser sections with a percentage of your sale going to the forum. You may not sell from the brand specific sub forums.
