If no GS Hypo use a dot of clear epoxy. DO NOT USE SUPERGLUE!!! -
Suh-lick!! Man, if I had that I would be torn on how to wear it. Either "normally" or up-side-down to show off the movement!!

G, you should have it tomorrow, I reckon, and have your pics up tomorrow evening! Before doing any distressing you might want to spray another coat or two of clear over the top in case you have to scuff off a boo-boo. I used Testors Dull Coat on this and it smells like a lacquer based formula. I usually use Krylon Crystal Clear Flat but I'm out... -

Blue - you talking about the hands themselves or the lume? I've made some more dials and this is about the best I can do with the technology available to me... -
Buyer wants to get full refund because shipping takes too long.

Unless tracking info shows the item to be DELIVERED PP will usually side with the buyer. I've had this happen twice over the years... -

Watch or dial? -
That is likely to be problematic as I have not had any luck with dial modifications unless a minimum quantity (usually 100) is paid for before you even see what you are getting! I think there are places where you can get custom dials made but I don't know the sources.

A really easy one if you have never built anything before is to get a Cartel 5512/5513 with a clone 2836 and do a dial and hand swap. Later you can do a different bezel insert and pearl, large lug-holes, and engrave the back.

Got that right, M, almost 40 years! But, she actually likes the prototype so I slapped a bracelet on it this evening... -
C'mon, M, he was somewhat entertaining even if he didn't understand basic applied physics...

I have bought a few things years ago. Some good, some not so good. I had somewhat good luck with jason007 many moons ago...

I think the next dial should be considerably better, this is about the best I can do with my worn out Alps printer. Wife.gov has agreed to print me a page of them at work on her laser printer. If they look OK I'll make some up... -

Thanks! I am going to have to order some "laser" decal paper and try to con my wife into printing some at work on her laser. Depending on how they print it could make for a passable dial. And, I gotta get a better way of tinting this Glow Inc. lume other than curry powder... kin tama - it's your fault so stop whining... -

Well, it's far from perfect but my printer is not working well (been out in the shop too long I suspect) and I've never claimed to be a lume-pro. Here's a "proof of concept" dial. I would think that it would be a bit sharper printed with a hi-res laser printer. But really, at actual size it probably would be quite acceptable "on the wrist"... -

OK, figured out it was happening only when I increased printer resolution to "Photo" quality, when left normal it prints black. I printed a page and, as per usual ink-jet, it is a bit fuzzy but might well work as a "proof of concept". I have put a decal over a dinged up white blank and will throw some lume on it when it drys. I'm going to see if my wife can maybe print me a page on her laser at work. I have decided that I'm not buying any more printers in my quest to make dials... -

I have ran into a slight snag. I have the artwork done, prints out on plain paper, but when I print out on decal paper they look green! The only thing I can think of is that my decal paper is "past it's use-by date" and I need to order some more. -
M, funny you should chime in as you immediately came to mind when I read this!

Yeah, waterslide decal. I have modified my "standard" Explorer drawing to match your picture and am printing a page of decals as I type... I think I already have a white painted dial blank so I may have a sample (minus lume) this afternoon... -
That is very interesting about the Explorer. I have used these cases for the Prince Oysterdate, Prince Date, Air-King, and OPD. All but a Prince Date would need the case-back to be attended to (if stuff like that bothers you) but that is pretty easy for a Rolex by use of a belt sander...
