There is a "How to" on removing and replacing crystals with household items. As I recall it involved a bottle lid. But as Doc says if you aint never then dont just put it in an envelope !!

Why would you have legal trouble? What did the reciept say? What country are you in? I suggest in the first instance you go to the house and politely request the watches return.... You may find there are other reasons he hasnt returned your calls... Try getting a friend to call asking to see him to take some watches to him... arrange a time and you will know when he will be there... If he hasnt said rep on the receipt then you have him legally no matter where you are... If you tell the police they were gen as far as your concened the only why he can argue that they are not is if he produces the watches...remember you have the reciepts.....I think the police would be more interested in that (as I am sure they would take a strong interest in him after that) than you

I dont quite follow mate You say it cleared customs ? UK? How do you know it hasnt left China? Remember the China standard tracking stops giving info most of the time once its reached the Airport... you then pick up tracking status on Royal Mail Track & Trace... I am sure you realise this but I dont understand how it can say both? Or where you got that contradictory info As for Mary you have no worries there mate....

I will have to check mate as its my Mums but as I recall its a flat dial not concentric as above, I remember looking over this watch when I got it and the only flaws I could find was the serial number was for the right model just not CZ bezel and the TAG emblem on the clasp was slightly less well defined but it was not noticeable without the gen watch next to it....other than that its fooled a few people who are supposed watch geeks including one who only owns TAGs - Though my Mum knows it rep... she enjoys winding them up !! Excuse the pun !! Oh hold on its Quartz !!

Problem with new is the mark up unless you can find a good source for your final choice but you need to be thinking at least 20% off RRP with only a few marques as the exception. Also buying around now you might be able to haggle in most ADs I always got a good discount buying from high street ADs, the best I recall was about 35% on an Omega. I think I would suggest the Blue Broad Arrow Blue Chrono going by your taste, Its a great everyday watch and looks just as good for evenings if your all dressed up !! But its whether you can find one if not if not any of the new Broad Arrows especially the GMT but not sure if you will get that in your price range possible though if you haggle and wave cash in their face!!! Another of the new models that sort of meets your initial choice is the Speedmaster Professional I like the contrasting sub dials...

I just realised the OP is correct !!! I recently suffered a peptic ulcer through stress (Apparently) Stress I thought !!!! Me !!?? No!!!! But then I remembered all those hours sitting in front of the laptop on Track&trace looking at whether those numbers will get past.."Awaiting Customs" Yes!!!!
