I am not sure if its been mentioned or looked at... I am sure it probably has... but what about possibly using an auction site to purchase something... or just a site like you know who all use?

The best way mate is to use the search tool...but unfortunately from my own experience JLCs aint discussed much on here...you should go to RG and use search there mate...there are reviews and discussions about accuracy etc The key with search is to use least amount of words and of different variations... so in this case try..."Calender" "Reserve" "Jaeger lecoultre" or rather just "Jaeger" or "Master"..anyway you get the idea... TBH most aint that accurate but that is subjective based on what you are happy to accept and wear... but none are Super reps I have a Geographique... which was cheap and really looks the part on the wrist.... plus its bigger sized ... looks great on a gen alligator (rep straps are crap) but when you study it you can see obvious flaws There is a datograph for sale in sales threads which gives you an idea of what is proably the better of the JLC reps excluding the divers... Now there are some of thsoe that are very very good OTB actually so are some reverso's...though a few are no longer made by teh factories Cheers

Its a great placeto go searching if you have a few hours spare one day....you can find some great vids... I would also recommend you use google translate then search you tube using different language in search bar...its amazing what you can find/see..unfortunately you cannot understand a word Thanks for sharing mate WE should have a sticky started for these sort of links.... we could select various vids posted based on likes..or something like that

Noob mate If you pre-order one from Angus at Puretime...he offers the mod before shipment or you can order it and get a mod to do it... They are OOS and there is a long line of guys waiting mate... best you can do is contact say Angus and pre-order (make payment) and wait for next batch Or you can ask any of the TDs and see if they will take a pre-order from you Hopefully crystal will be better in next batch

The gen LM 45mm is only in blue/ti... the maker is not going to make one at the moment as they cannot match the gen blue and the LM look.. If you want 45mm then wait a bit for the new batch of ceramic 45s... they have improved a few areas from the first release

The trick mate aint to concern yourself with dealers.... thats a different research project.... they re all much of a muchness...with small variations in things like price, shipping costs, time, QC pics, guarantees against customs loss etc etc The key in your research about particular models is knowing the version and the maker.... once you know that ...and you aint sure which it is on a particular dealers site then you just email them and say something like...have you got the H-Makers SA V3 white dial batons A7750...the dealer will either send you back a yes and here is link on my site or will say its not on my site but I can get it... If you go to someone like Sead at supermirrors he deosnt have a website but can get you any rep you want and for a lot less than the bigger dealers... however if you pay the extra the service you can get is smoother generally especially if you are new at this game... For me ...I ask Sead say..Can you get this particular model and how much shipped... he replies back...I send payment.... I dont ask for QC pics or tracking..I have known S a long time and I know he will check it thoroughly and if that model has a particular weakness I will ask him to check that..say like the crown stem or the like... when it arrives if there is a problem ..he just gets me to send it back to his EU addy and I get refund or replacement.. With Josh ...its more formal, you place order... you get instructions ..once bought you get QC pics then you get tracking number.... it all takes a few days But between those to methods you will find all dealers are the same... smaller ones are cheaper and you develop more personal relationships though as I say that I think of how well I can talk to Angus at Puretime and how helpful he is... So for a first buy mate use Puretime, Perfect or Trusty.... you will pay more but you will ease into the process much more comfortably..then as you get more into the buying you can go to others and see how you like it....

I have so many of so many makes so many models...even so called super reps ...every PAM especially.. that always needed something...though there was a rad that came damn close to being spot on but there was one...out of all of them there was/is one.. that I was completely comfortble wearing and have absolutely no interest in modding or changing in any way... for me its a 100% But it was only that one,

I can fully understand how these sort of situations can arise... and I understand how difficult it can be for anyone in this situation... But reading the first reply ...I personally feel is wrong.. To say this is only reps and my family come first is totally applaudable.... and I feel the same way.. but you are talking about yourself...you are now dealing with others.. and in that respect by taking this work and other members watches you are no longer just doing a hobby for yourself... Guys who have spent their money and sent thier property to you have put thier trust in you... you cant just walk away from that and expect them to understand that ...no matter the reason.... A simple thread or contacting a mod/crew member would give comfort to those who are in your hands and its a single conduit of communication..that can be easily updated withoiut spending to much of your time on it By taking watches and taking money this is no longer simply a hobby for you but it is for those giving you thier trust and thier money... all they ask in return is a simple flow of information in return... I am not out to beat M with this and I dont doubt his honesty but I do think that by saying that ...he really doesnt understand or has given any thought to how these guys feel or I certainly know how I would feel if I sent soemone a few hundred/thousand worth of stuff... and heard nothing..

Thanks guys I appreciate it I have some pics below of the gen and rep dial... you can see that overall the rep dial aint bad at all especially for the sort of money these go for as reps.. what really lets them down is generally the AR, crystal shape... putting aside movement that is and variation dependent.. I think I would be perfectly happy to wear a rep dial with a gen crystal or at the least an aftermarket AR job..it is a decent rep IMHO As for the dials the biggest/obvious difference on the wrist is the shiny subdial.... there are other differences like the lume application shape and quality plus height and also the typeface etc but overall its not a bad version... I have seen a few rep dials being sold on the by as gen so if you are thinking about doing something like this please be careful.... But overall the rep is IMHO under rated

Thanks guys... I guess being a PAM head I have always loved the simple big black dials and lumed markers... hence why I prefer this over say the AT XXL. I will update when I can with the lume... but it is awesome :) and satisfies my lume craving.. I do have some rep to gen dial comparison pics that I took a long time ago now if wanted ...

I have just recieved pics of my franken from Domi...I am very pleased.. It has taken nearly a year now to ource all the parts and get this built but Domi has done a great job getting everything to gel together ... fantastic work once again from Domi I will update pics once its on its new boots.....

Hi guys I was searching for some size comparisons of the 44mm Chrono SO but I cannot find any on the forums excepting a few sales threads posting a group sale which werent very helpful..I also tried gen forums without any luck.. Can any kind soul post a comparison pic of this size model against another watch model to compare size... I cannot tell if this model is a small 44 or will wear big.... I am hoping it will be big..but I get the impression the small dial gives a small look.. Any help would be greatly appreciated...
