  1. These guys are hardcore gamers, I asked one of them tonight and he said "about 10000kr" (£800) I think It'll cost about half plus a little when it hits our shops next year.. ..or the year after.. I can get you an address if you're that crazy! heh!
  2. Hehe! I think you have a point JTB.. I watched more of his videos, and found a stand-up clip.. He IS camp, and there are people who do this kind of stuff it a LOT better than him. I did enjoy the smiley thing though.
  3. Oh I forgot the father thing.. Most responsible job I've ever had. All kinds of credit to my better half though, for being alone and bringing my baby up good half of the year.
  4. I disagree TTK.. I think the blue gives it a bit more character.. And it's really what I associate with the Seamaster name.
  5. That's fantastic ryyannon! I knew about your escapades on the high seas, but all that other stuff! You could die today (god forbid) and people could say "don't be sad, he's seen more and experienced more than most of us could ever hope for.." Let's hope that's said after 20 years in Bali though Now where are the call girls that want to learn some norwegian?
  6. I'm thinking about a transfer over to the oil industry.. Just to try something new. I want to take an ROV-pilot's course, and try my luck there, maybe start a little ROV-service of my own.. There is enough demand for it around here.. But that first leap is a bit scary. The pay is great on the fishing vessels, but that might change the next few years. Building a house I need a few years of steady income!
  7. I used to play in a band.. We called ourselves "Marteræva lyng og gras band" I was an original forming member, but I got kicked out because I was 'too serious about music..' I basically meant that I actually could play my instrument.
  8. I surf at work.. a LOT.. And I look at porn.. Nobody really cares as long as I do my job as well.
  9. Shucks, r11co! Try googling for "mark day comedy" or "markdaycomedy" and see if you can find some of his stuff.
  10. He has a few videos on youtube! Someone scottish translate for us!
  11. I have a few mates who have ordered them on ebay, one knows the US-based seller, and as I understand it's pretty much guaranteed they have them in norway around the 18th. I dunno about cost though.. I'm waiting this one out for a while, as I do not play much myself anymore...
  12. He has this spot on the forum at least: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showforum=72
  13. Pugwash? Any relation to Mail order brides? Jonthebhoy, at least you stuck to one thing! I am sure you are good at what you do.
  14. No problem! I know what you mean, it took quite some time before I learned my way around this forum.. Use the 'home' button up there, and scroll through the whole list, and you'll have an idea of where stuff is. I just looked over Tanfoglio's collection again, and I am still amazed by it. I am not a Rolex fan, but this makes me want one.. ..or 250! http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=427 PS: Don't miss mine either! It has a genuine Timex Indiglo in it!
  15. I have to ask you if you have seen the "my collection" section we already have? http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showforum=47 Tanfoglio's Rolex collection is a must-see.
  16. Well, I got into a quite interesting discussion with my mates, talking about all the different kind of employment we've had so far. In some cases you would really see a pattern from what kind of work he'd done, fitting his personality well.. They all agreed my jobs didn't fit me at all. I don't know if that's a good thing or not. SO.. I thought it would be fun to ask all my fellow RWG'ers to list their jobs/job and see what kind of weird things you all have done and are doing to make those moneys! Feel free to start with your first earned nickle in a real job, go on to and tell us how you got all the way to the millions you now earn.. ...if you can remember. I know we have some senior members on the board. I'll hit this off: First real job: Delivering groceries to a store. I had to drive them in a big hand cart because the island I grew up on didn't have any cars, and I was 11. Hard work for a kid! Other jobs that I've had for a while: Lighthouse keeper Dockworker, unloading frozen fish Putting up foundations and mounting shore-signs Fisherman on small fishing vessels, mostly purse seiners Engineer's School for 4 years Engineer's trainee on a cruise ferry and a cargo ship. Engine mechanic in a shipyard Bouncer in a bar in town(and a pub in greece for one week, we were paid in drinks) Engineer on a cruise catamaran in the deep norwegian fjords, and on an oil rig support vessel. Current job: Engineer on a large purse seiner/trawler, fishing the North Sea, Skagerak, Barents Sea, Norwegian Sea and the North Atlantic west of Ireland mostly. Those are the ones I can remember right now, I might add a few later. Looking back I can't really say I have done anything exciting, but I've had jobs where I can move around and do what I like. Your turn!
  17. Yeah, Kenberg.. I thought about that.. And it seems quite weird with the two stories matching up like that. The crown looks good on the Panerai though.. But we all know how that can be done..
  18. Ok, this one baffled me a little bit.. This is a store with over 2000 sales and good feedback.. I have been watching a Panerai 111h with a long story about how they had the movement changed and all. This Panerai looks real to me, but I am not sure. Panerai Then I see this; An Omega Seamster GMT, a watch I have seen a lot of, and I own a rep of.. Same story with this watch, movement swap and bla bla bla.. But the bezel insert is not aligned, the He-valve is not where it should be and the bezel pearl looks a bit off. Am I being paranoid here, Omegas look like this? Seamaster GMT
  19. Not a great song for me, but I always like 'unlikely' collaborations.. And I enjoy both U2 and Green Days' music.
  20. I spotted the ref holding his penis! Oh and for the Celtic supporters, a nice treat. Imagine all the lume you can slap on there! You think we'll see a good rep soon?
