  1. http://cgi.ebay.com/44mm-Davis-FLYING-TOUR...1QQcmdZViewItem Case looks pretty similar to the GP Seahawk 3000m Diver. Looks very close to the original Diver's Tourbillon, I would love it if they made a 1:1 Tourbillon rep, but too bad the tourbillon cage wil never look the same as the GP one.
  2. The sunken datewheel is not a flaw actually. It is sunken on the genuine too, you can see the next and previous number at a low angle.
  3. What a moron!
  4. I was at the Hublot dealer in Toronto today to examine the BB. There are two sizes for the HBB, a 40mm or so and a 44mm. The 44mm one uses a ETA 775X with seconds at 9, and the 40mm uses an ETA 2894 with seconds at 3. The RG with RG bezel version were only made in 40mm, which explains this. There's also an SS with ceramic bezel that is in 40mm, also using the 2894. The 40mm is noticeably smaller (bigger difference than Panerai), and thinner. Hope this answers the difference.
  5. SS version does exist with regular non-CF dial.
  6. Caseback should be brushed. I also think the datewheel font is a little off?
  7. Holy crap, I hate the BB as I feel it is a cheap copy of the AP ROO, but wow this things looks bloody nice. May have to get one.
  8. Isn't the word "[censored]" the most useful? In English, [censored] falls into many grammatical categories: As a transitive verb for intance ...John [censored]ed Shirley. As an intransitive verb...Shirley [censored]s. Its meaning is not always sexual, it can be used as... An adjective such as ...John's doing all the [censored]ing work. As part of an adverb ...Shirley talks too [censored]ing much. As an adverb enhancing an adjective ...Shirley is [censored]ing beautiful. As a noun ...I don't give a [censored]. As part of a word ...abso[censored]inglutely -or- in[censored]ingcredible. And as almost every word in a sentence ...[censored] the [censored]ing [censored]ers. As you must realize, there aren't too many words with the versatility of [censored]...such as these examples describing situations such as: Fraud ...I got [censored]ed at the used car lot. Dismay ...ahhh [censored] it. Trouble ...I guess I'm really [censored]ed now. Agression ...Don't [censored] with me buddy. Difficulty ...I don't understand this [censored]ing question. Inquiry ...Who the [censored] was that? Dissatisfaction ...I don't like what the [censored] is going on here. Incompetance ...He's a [censored]-off. Dismissal ...Why don't you go outside and play hide and go [censored] yourself...
  9. The tutti-frutty Offshore never really did well and many collectors were disgusted. That minute repeater is a good deal for the price, but I would definitely have the dial changed to the blue or black one that is standard on the model.
  10. Hmm, do the diamonds look close to the genuine one? Rolex uses mostly D and E diamonds and of high clarity as far as I know, and I would like to know what quality the diamonds are in this one, as it would be an even bigger flaw if the diamonds did not glitter like the gen. Just wondering, as almost $9K US for this baby is expensive if it doesn't look exactly like the gen.
  11. Don't buy that 0% interest crap. Make one overdue payment, and your interest rate can shoot back up to 20% (at least in Canada that's the case). Stick with one that consistently has the lowest rates. For the financial institution I work with in Canada (TD Canada Trust), the gold cards have rates around 22%/PA but the Emerald low-interest cards have rates of 16% or so, and that's the best already. Read the fine print carefully. If you don't, you may find that if you make one late payment, that low interest rates disappears and you end up paying 20%+. Anyways, if you have the money, you shouldn't care about CCs. Just pay it off every month and there will be no interest. I've consistently made payments on my CC every 10 years, and not a single time late. I've never had to pay a dime in interest, and I actually get 2% cash back.

    .

This thing is real for sure. Can't believe you jumped the gun so fast.
  13. How come I'm inclined to agree with you? I had a real 3710 a while ago, and it was out of my house again as fast as you could say "Nautilus" (literally, I had one for 2 days and got rid of it), mainly because it wasn't particularly good looking and it was way too expensive for what it was. I guess I want the rep because it's cheaper and more justifiable than paying $19,000 for the genuine one, then I could probably live with it's ugliness, because I just love GG's designs- Especially the Royal Oak. Best, T.
  14. Bump. Anyone? Anyone?
  15. I have one reserved- already paid.
  16. Great news. You've got my payment, so you know I'm in.
  17. Archibald: PM sent in reply. By the way, genuine gaskets, pushers and crowns were available on eBay a few weeks ago, from a previous service.
  18. Crazy thing is that Panerai would sell the same watch with the exact skeleton movement, call it a limited edition and people will be lining up to buy them at $20,000 each.
  19. Looks good. The ultimate problem here is the datewheel font though, too bad it's a universal problem with all ladies DJ models.
  20. Bang on. That's what some of us have been repeating for the past while. Seems as though some people aren't mature enough to understand.
  21. The dials look pretty bad. The cyclops window really does ned to be bigger, as the date on the Offshore uses a large aperture, as the date is displayed through a small rectangle in the chrono module, and a cyclops is placed over it. The dial does not look promising, as the wrong sudial spacing in this model is very evident. And how the **** did the 10 and 20 get switched around???
  22. Damn it. If it isn't modified, it would be a complete deal-breaker for me. If they could do it to the Daytona, I bet they can do it with this model too. Wait and see.
  23. Alinghi Polaris is different. It has a rotating inner bezel, and a case designed for that, as well as a different caseback. Movement is different than the normal Offshore, in the Alinghi Polaris, it is an in-house flyback regatta movement. Safari would be a dream, and they have no lume to screw up on, but what comes into question is how good the band would be, as the OEM hornback strap is almost $600 each!
  24. Another reality check: T3 and Titanium Offshore rep doesn't seem likely in the future, as Ti reps seem to be dying out and rare. It would be a [censored] especially to work with it for a Royal Oak case. And, I don't need to stare at those pics. I'm staring at a genuine piece exactly like that (except in Ti) on my wrist today. Can't wait to have the rep, so this one can go back in the bank vault.
  25. Randy, I think a 1:1 25860ST would be out of the question. There's a lot of potential problems. The case would definitely not be 1:1, with the thickness of the 7750 and the bracelet would need to be thicker, rendering it inaccurate. The subdial spacing is even closer than a Daytona, and the datewheel would be sunken. Unless, if they copy the F. Piguet movement. (One can always hope)
