  1. Indiglo? Obviously quartz... but Indiglo?... does it light up when the crown is pushed? Wow... GAF should leave us alone and go after the big time rep dealers... WalMart, Target...
  2. Out 18 rep purchases... I've had trouble with One. It was destroyed in the shipping process. The dealer dealt with the issue and had a replacement in my hands in a week. Sounds to me that Kkor has had more than his fair share of problems.
  3. Jellyfish or some sort would be my guess... And wow.. those underwater housings are steep... been pricing one for the nikon D50/D70/D80 series as of late.
  4. You also forgot the job choices of: "GAF attorney that is about to sue your happy a$$" "Law Enforcement that is here to put your happy a$$ in jepordy of being violated in a prison shower" and the always popular: "Internet Troll"
  5. Strangely enough... I've had no troubles at all with RWI over the past several days... Perhaps my low post count has kept me out of the spotlight of troubles...
  6. Heck yah... put on an "Animal" costume... show up with a drumset and the whole collar/chain thing going on.. and of course a case-back opener and ask to inspect that bad boy... Perhaps I've consumed a few to many oat-sodas this evening... I seem to have misplaced a case of Little Kings around here somewhere... theres a pile of empty 7oz bottles ina box over on the floor though... yeesh.... mebee I should go to bed.

As a person who doesn't wear gold I can't say that I agree with cornerstone... That tourby is very visually appealing to me... which model is that?... does the tourby spin?...
  8. Shhhh Woody... that was sooooo very close to putting a flashing neon sign around the neck of the young scammer.... And I totally agree with Woody... this whole system of Forums and Inter/intra-member trading is based in its entirety off trust that buyers and sellers have... A board member doing this to another board member erodes the base of trust that our entire forum is built off of. I've dealt with Woody recently and I must say that I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again. I've also dealt with other members on this and other forums that have also proven to be stand up individuals... The watch that was shipped as "new" is totally unexcusable and the behaviour surrounding this transaction are beyond my comprehension. I have no idea how you haven't posted directly the young students name and address and such already... either way we pretty much know who it is... and I, for one, will never have dealing with that individual. I'm certain I'm not the only one who feels that way.
  9. Either way this one goes... wow... just wow. The stones on that fellow to ship that destroyed hunk of crap as "New"... wow. And one more name added to the Official OiRogers Brand Fecal Roster.
  10. The only thing I can add to this whole thread is... I hadn't realized until just a second ago that its been about two weeks and an hour since we've had a thread of this nature from a new buyer.... odd how these things seem to cycle, isn't it?
  11. I'd imagine... "Get the F#$% on the ground... Put your hands behind your back...."
  12. Just started a timer here at the ol' OiRogers residence.... anyone care to place bets on how long it'll take for a Rep of this LV Homage to surface.. I'm guessing before the end of the month.
  13. New watches need a bit of time to settle down before you go regulating em... give it a month or so of run time and check again... I'd be it gets better. Had a sub that ran +40 sec/day when I got it... after about 3 weeks of regular wear it was down to about +6... a week later +4... sold it off for a better sub before I ever broke the caseback opener out to mess with regulating.
  14. This thread may be one of the most amusing threads I've read in a while... I'd always wondered about who took the dealer photos... some are obviously superior (TTK) others leave something to be desired, such as accuracy (paul/womart/[censored]/aspire/abay/etaswiss?... did i miss any?) I'm certain Paul gets plenty of business without me... lack of paypal was my first concern... lack of follow up customer support is now a larger concern to me... sloppy lack of attention is now a third concern... I'll stick to the dealers I know and trust... /end mini-rant. /em puts away soapbox
  15. I think Kenberg may be a bit LOW on that guess... I'd be guessing more along the lines of 98-99% arrive safely... Dealers would obviouslly know best, but would any of them be willing to post the actual stats... guessing not... research your dealers a bit... the trusted ones here, with the positive reviews in the review section, will make good on a customs snagged watch...other dealers post in their listings that the customs risk is all the buyers... read up.
  16. For just a quick "deburr"... The eraser from one of those Erasable Pens works wonders... Learned this trick from Birdman... So I cannot take credit... But it does work wonders.
  17. Well thanks to you guys... one more watch has just been added to my "want" list... I'm certain my wife thoroughly hates these forums now.
  18. I asked that same question via PM and the answer I recieved is "Yes"
  19. Looks like we're well on the way to finding out...
  20. Bazooka are recoiless rifles... shoots a large exhaust flame out the rear.. just as long as your not riding a Vespa behind this guy you'd be ok
  21. And some of us have both the various Tattoos and the nice suits.... I am related to a Hells Angel member, but I, myself am much more law abiding. As long as the tattoos stay off the hands, neck, and face... Suits can easily cover tattoos when situations require. I think Tattoos are actually a larger addiction to me than watches...
  22. Very odd... never had a problem with this site and I use Firefox exclusively *unless the damn site requires IE to register or something... DAMN YOU NORTON*
  23. Very interesting read... that "100 jewel" movement made me laugh really really hard. Is there an optimal number of jewels for a standard date/time with no subdial auto?... 25 jewels? or is that even overkill?
