I think you are right. The hour hand jumps, not the GMT hand. I owned the gen Omega, but it was a while ago. In any case, it is better than what I have now. Would the hands from my IHS Swiss GMT ceramic fit the 2893-2? Thanks. Marty

I don't mind the IHS, but I am tired of the GMT hand lagging behind the hour hand. My watch is supposed to have the Swiss movement. What ETA movement with the GMT that jumps in hour increments (like on an gen Seamaster GMT), will fit this case and hand set? Thanks. Marty

I could not agree more. Buy good tools! This is a mod that sometimes can become a cluster [censored] of immense proportions. There is nothing more fun than trying to get a broken tap out of a case

This is upsetting ... I myself have historically collects gens and I have posted pics of them here. Not to show off, but to share my excitement with the forum. I now collect reps, mainly because I don't have the financial means to own multiple gens (went through a long expensive divorce) and I love vintage Rolexes, which I could never afford anyway. You belong here V. Don't pay any mind to this crap. The spirit of this community is to share our love of watches, gen or rep ... nothing more, nothing less.

Actually, it is very effective. I rarely get phone calls on my home line and I never get them twice (from the same company). The fines are very hefty and businesses do get accessed.

Kornheiser is not racist ... just a stupid ass. Anything that gets him off of MNF works for me.

I think it is worth mentioning that with the MBW's, some parts are not a direct drop in. Like the crown tube, which needs to be tapped to the correct size (and sometimes drilled) first. I have also seen where inserts do not just pop in like they should (although most of the time they do).
