In related news, my neighbor gave me a call saying she needed help with her car.
It seems during our winter storm last weekend (120mph winds and driving snow) she accidentally left a window rolled down on her Toyota RAV4.
In a scene straight out of Hollywood, when she opened the door it was FULL of snow. Literally full. So she began digging.
By the time I arrived she had it mostly shoveled out, it took us another 1/2 hour to get it scraped off the roof liner and out of the rear footwells. I got enough ice scraped off the glass that I could see out a tiny patch, and I drove it into my heated garage. It ran water all night, and today it looks a lot happier. Some quality time with a shop vac tomorrow ought to get a lot of the remaining water out.
