  1. Hey didn't we just celebrate this? Time flies like an arrow. But Fruit flies like bananas.
  2. Yep, same dial feet position.
  3. Best friend Eunomians! Today only CARZY sale, you buy one I give one! You buy two I give two!
  4. Perhaps putting this into words we understand better will help. "Replicas" of the original, with subtle enhancements... Vs. "fakes".......
  5. Amen Euno, I'd rather push my old Land Rover than drive just about anything else. Except maybe Andy's Aston Martin. Good GAWD that thing's fast.
  6. Tell me about it, Euno. I was driving down for a mtn bike ride tonight and our road is pretty bad right now. I hit a pothole pretty hard and she quit charging. Pulled over, took a quick look, the Field wire was knocked off the generator. I re-crimped the spade terminal with my Leatherman and slipped it back on its post... problem solved. of course I left another square inch of skin on my exhaust manifold, again! You'd think I'd learn.
  7. Nope this is Poppy Red, one of the original colors from the early 60s, with Limestone wheels and top. How many times has it gone around? In 54 years? If it did 6,000 miles in a year that would be three times. I've personally done 65,000 miles in it so at least three. Maybe four?
  8. Jeez Louise DP, 200k miles?! I've only got 124 on my Land Rover.
  9. I drive a snowblower [emoji12] Not quite year-round...
  10. BOOM!!! Alaska Blue. I love it.
  11. Carefully? Forget that, this is a one way trip baby. Get those suckers OFF there, they ain't going back on again.
  12. Fantastic result!! Now let's take it a step further. As "polished" as the case looks, it's had lots of wear, right? So get some Flitz metal polishing paste and work that band over to get the "new" look off it. Now see how close the crown is to the bezel? My Silix build was just like that. Get some JB Weld, pull that tube, and fill the divot in the case where the tube goes in, to bring it up level with the curved case side. Then shape it and tap it for the tube threads. When you put the tube back in it can allow you to leave it proud of the case enough to make a believable gap between the crown and bezel that really looks tasty. This is a fantastic example of what a gorgeous piece you can make without mortgaging the dog. Well done!
  13. Boy, hang onto that T16, I paid more for mine than I did my first car.
  14. Hmmmmmmm. Is there a point when you gotta admit your 702 tube is just flat worn out?
  15. Thanks big guy! It's friends like you guys that make it fun (tolerable) to keep celebrating these days
