Depends; do you badly wish a GMTII C? I wouldn't do it. Ok, the Daytona is still a Franken and the GMT-Master a gen. But, who wants a GMT when you (can) have a DAYTONA, especially if its a Zentih one. But maybe I am just biased, I hate the Ceramic models

Nice! I have the same issue with the dial, it is to small by 0,6mm, not easy to center and to fit. The dial I received has very bad lume too. I can't recommend the Ingod dial so far, I won't use mine, but maybe I'm just too anal. But you know: "ganz oder gar nicht" (go big or go home).

Gen 702 crowns, never have seen any replicate with the shown characterisics. Tubes I guess gen 7020, but not 100% sure.

Yes you can, but personally I wouldn't. My advice: use the search function! This topic has been discussed a few times already. Automatico, nothing to add, really... Yes they are interchangeable. I got a engine turned bezel on my 16014 which is for the sapphire version, it was very cheap so I grabbed it. And yes the sapphire version is taller but looks ok on the acrylic DJ, other way roung wouldn't work (mentioned above). I will sand down the bezel one day...

Hey very cool stuff! My advice for starting with movements: grab a good camera (or anything with good macro abilities) and take a photo from above and same anlge of each step when you disassemble a movement. E.g. dial side complete, then remove parts from the keyless, stop take a picture and take a pic of the parts you just removed and move on. That's how I started, I have a few folders of different movement, each with about 30 photos of the disassembly. When I've put the movement together that came in handy. And no, automatic movements are not too difficult, my very first movement I worked on was a ETA 2671, thats a lady size movement, about half of the size of a ordinary 2824. And yes, it works ATM I'm onto chronographs, thats more difficult!

Imho, a 16200 or JMB case works best. They have the improved bigger caseback and enough meat on the lugs. A 1601 or 16000 case has the nicer shaped lugs, but does not have the correct caseback design. You have to decide what works better for you.
