  1. I recently picked up some gen dials and am looking to drop one into a Noob case Exp.II The thing is the dial opening is 27.0mm and the dial is 27.3mm It'll set in the case without falling through but .3mm isn't much of a seating surface for the dial. I've seen several gen dials put into the discontinued Noob Exp.II cases. The dial needs to be securely fastened to the mvt. and the mvt will need to be perfectly centered. Perhaps some of you that have already tackled this feat could offerer some pointers, info or advice on the best way to go about doing it. I really appreciate. Thanks guys.
  2. Stilty: I'm trying to PM you...but I guess your box is full. I'm in need of your expertise and help please, brother.
  3. Ahh..thanks for the update. @6now. I agree. Pulling the links apart to swap SEL's isn't something I want to fool with if it's avoidable.
  4. Pretty clever wording...and 2 bids already...??
  5. That's right. And during this Y to F series transition is when they phased out the Flat 4 Tritium inserts and went with the Pointed 4 luminova's
  6. I'll commit to 4 please. I've not heard anything of the TC V3 Bracelet lately. Is that a go or did I miss something??
  7. Z series "would" be 16610 T....Rolex wouldn't forget to engrave that. To me the engraving looks like a skillful DIY job. The 8's don't look correct nor is the word "stainless".done the same size. With what people are capable of doing to aftermarket/sterile cases these day I wouldn't touch it. It doesn't look gen to me.
  8. They can be requested as an upgrade option until the standard 25-295-C pool dries up. This is soon to be the standard replacement crystal. As for gen bracelets...you're right...they're priced ridiculously high. I landed a gen 93250 SEL for 975.00...and sold it the day after it arrived...to me the cost simply wasn't justifiable for a Franken. I landed the 78790A SEL and it doesn't really look or feel any better than the Noob Bracelet to me but I kept it "only for the gen case set build. If you can fit an acceptable SEL fit with a rep or aftermarket Oyster, stick with it..... NOTE: The minor gap found in the SEL fit of the Noob Exp.II's is caused by the lugs, not the SEL. The Noob fits the gen case as well as the gen does..and the gen fits the Noob case like the Noob does...same gap.
  9. +1...that's a good question. Though I would think they're originals.
  10. B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L !!! They just don't get much better than that, Brother.
  11. Same here. Mine are all from BK and none have failed me yet (and yes....I swam with the BK Sub-C when I had it...no worries.
  12. Food for thought: The Zigmeister can install the gen tube and uses a custom made bushing in doing so. That way the gen tube will screw in and out of the case just like a gen.
  13. Awesome concept...manufacturing these. This should prove to be very useful...and very interesting. Done right...I'm in for a few myself. I'd love to sport the "black-hole" effect.
  14. Secret source?? That's awesome...those are AD prices for a gen owner
  15. VERY nice !! Congradulations.
  16. Thanks for sharing that info, Brother.
  17. Thanks for sharing Brother. The crystal would indeed account for the DW appearance...the font looks off to me but the cyclop must be the cause of that. Bezel slopes are wrong on gens?? Which ones?? I have a gen F series Exp.II, a gen 16570 bezel (off a D series) on a BK Noob Exp.II and a Noob Exp.II bezel and they seem to have the exact same slope. Actually, the only difference I see in them is the paint used for the engraving fill...the gen filling the engraving to come flush with the bezel BUT...the gen F series needs a mvt.....and yours will fit just fine. THAT'S a beauty of a mvt. there
  18. Great information there Brother. Thanks for sharing.
  19. The hand sizes you post seem to be of a CHS 2836-2....?? Are they making one that's dependable these days??
  20. I don't know what "seriffs" are but the DW doesn't look to be the correct champagne color either.
  21. Thanks for the info Ronin. Alas the 3175 I had my eyes on has already been sold. So the search for a 3175 or 3185 continues
