This. ESPECIALLY if he posts personal information. He may get sued for defamation. Which I would not wish on anyone. Someone in contact with him should let him know the consequences of his rash threat.

It's degrading to women either way. But I'm not here to argue this point as clearly I'm not going to change any minds. What does bother me is the attitude of "If you don't like it, you don't have to see it." People have to make a distinction between what is offensive to some and what is harmful to all. If you don't understand why such behavior is harmful, like I said, I'm not going to waste your time, nor mine.

Does anyone have/know where to get 1675 hands for a DG3804?

Nice, thanks brother. Do you know if I'll need a new retaining ring as well? -
Here in America we call it Freedom. /sarcasm

Rolex really just ought to re-release all their vintage models.
-
Use a pair of pliers to screw it back in.

That's definitely interesting. So what can explain the fading issue with these inserts?

Also, just learned that the bezel isn't actually ceramic. Major bummer.

He's already worked on 2 of mine and he has been nothing but a gentleman throughout. Wish I could have a wrist shot here, but can't find the camera...maybe the community could step in. Anyway, thanks so much for all your hard work!

Hard to believe Rolex did NOT produce a white 6542
ldegeneve replied to freddy333's topic in The Rolex Area
Sure. The white 6542 looks nice. It's that white 1016 that bothers me. Imagine what it would have looked like new. You would barely be able to see the markers. Seems iffy. -

Idk man, that explorer looks iffy. I mean, white lume without any outline on that white dial? Seems kinda impractical. Too bad Rlx is so mysterious about this. -
It's money saved from the movement, yes. Personally I would go with the clone ETA, but the 4813 makes a good starter rep.

That's terrible news. Part of my work is helping people to find work. I can definitely help you with your motivation letter if you would like to PM me about it. I would be more than happy to do so. One caveat: I work within a US environment. It shouldn't be all that different in the EU but I thought I would let you know.

http://www.gq.com/news-politics/newsmakers/201304/buzz-bissinger-shopaholic-gucci-addiction Read it and weep, gentlemen. Don't be surprised to see at least a little bit if yourselves in the article. CLIFFNOTES! Guy is addicted to clothes. Replace clothes with watches and this is basically a WIS confessional.

Indeed. I hope it's for real. I don't know whether to hold out for this or get an AP RO classic now. Choices choices... -

Anyone seen this? Arctic Ocean Homage to Snowflake !
ldegeneve replied to sgtguk's topic in General Discussion
The only thing that keeps me away from these are the size. 42mm for a sub homage. Too big! Let's keep it classic! -

Need info on the cheap 1655 that Andre/Joshau are selling.

Would you know if the GMT hand is independently adjustable on the DG3804B? -
Definitely the bracelet. What's C&I?
-
Yeah, that was my impression, looking from the pics at least. In which case I don't think it's worth the cost.

Does such a creature exist? I tried searching, but came up short. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks and much appreciated.

What about lume? Would that be unfeasible at this point?
