I don't think about it. I think about for whose benefit. I am also inclined to suspect Paul might ship crap to womart orderts and pick the best stuff for the expensive orders. But why would he do that, to get fired at TRC and here? Would not make sense. And at whose expense is Rolex making money? Those willing to pay. Simple enough, nobody able to click on "search" on any one of the 4-5 forums where Paul is known would be willing to pay the extra, hence it seems to me the extra expense is the price of tuition, why not after all?

Not sure what EL is asking for his, but Josh has one for nearly $400, not sure what justifies the price though. It is much easier to find decent 217, Paul's is as good as any for great price. I guess Andrew is offering to fit the best movement which should come close to $400, hence his and Josh's 127 would probably rank as "best". Unless you know Japanese this is pretty much it.

don't measure your wrist, this can be misleading, try the watch on as the dial size and see how it matches the size of your hands, not only wrists, large hands call for larger watch, totally visual thing, one must try it on to tell. I got the 42.5 version and it seems OK, but for my large hands/wrists the 45 looks better, too bad I can't get a decent rep of that (main problem is gap in the first link)

I did business with Paul only once, and perhaps I was lucky but it was first class service and the watch is flowless. I also had good experience with some other "cheaper" delers like Adam and Jay; not to name names, but the only watch that didn't really leave up to my expectations came from one of the most reputable and expensive dealers. Could be luck, but recently I didn't not see any bad publicity...but lots of good reviews, more on TRC then here though.

Hey, lets add a knife repair and upgrade section, ya know, to answer questions like "just stabbed a chap today and broke the tip of my tanto, where do I source a new blade?" or "my new N.....a knife got all bloody and yack, after trying it out today, how do I polish it", or how about some mods for knifes, guards for instance?
