In short, Bike Mikes test shows that an (in his test case rolly) rep is assembled from parts, probably from different manufacturers, using various types of steel to manufacture. Considering the shade/niche of the rep biz it most is likely they will use any type of steel to get the final product out that makes the money regardless...

There is not going to be an asian 7753. Except for us nitpickers the a7750 tricompex layout wil fill the 7753 gap quite nicely. Sure the datewheel is sunken, atleast they get the font right, well sortoff... On the gen the datewheel seems also (albeit a litle) sunken.

Same dial as 72, yes. You will have to use a DW mystery case with an valjoux 23. Val 23 is robust movement if serviced properly a perfect timekeeper, though offcourse more outdated.

IMO not worth the extra 70. No garuantee the swiss eta is'nt a surplus movement. Take the clone eta, and use the 70 bucks for whenever it craps out.

You need a new part, which one i don't know, the zigmeister and fransico probably know, i recall zigmeister once did a pictorial illustrating the problem and result to the part, however cant seem to find it. Might not be worth the hassle nor the dollars if you cant do it yourself tho... Might aswel buy an a7750 mov and replace.

Thats an issue with the 7750, you cant change the date between roughly 6 pm til 4 am. This is because the date change mechanism is enganged and will get damaged. This rule applies to both swiss eta and asian 7750.

Besides what's mentioned above, (some of) the hand sizes are different. Which means, you cant simply swap an a7750 for an eta7750 without working the hands or replace with new hand set.
