Great movement from what I've read. Even just swapping to an ETA 2824-2 or 2836-2 is not a difficult job with a rudimentary knowledge of watches (just don't go asking the first movement I tried working on, can't make a omelette without breaking some eggs I guess ). If you buy with an A28xx-2 movement then the hands, date wheel, dial etc will all fit with relative ease.

I spent quite a bit of time searching up images of the movement and I have not found a genuine picture with a serial number opposite the anti-counterfeit symbol. I'm not sure if it's the quality of the photo or not but the anti-counterfeit symbol looks horrendous in the photo.

I call BS on this. The Anti-counterfeit mark on the rear looks like crap and I cannot find a single other photo with a serial number opposite to the anti-counterfeit symbol. This watch is a fake.

Don't buy Swiss ETA from a TD. Not worth the worry and given how supply of ETA movements is currently if you were to get one it would be old stock and you'd get the problems that can come along with that. If you really want a Swiss ETA then buy A2836-2 with the watch and then source an ETA 2836-2 and get a watchsmith to do the (simple) swap.

Looks fake to me, but that's just a gut feeling. Let the experts fully clarify.

From what I have seen on RG they seem to be gorgeous, for a while it didn't seem like it would come out. I would love to see if it would be possible to use a vintage movement (Maybe women's mechanical?) in the case and convert it from quartz to mechanical, but I assume it would be a dramatic modification to the watch.

As a gen hell no, I'm a student. Though by that logic I can't pull off my 1675 or my 1016 that I'm wearing as I write this. Like anything in fashion it just depends on the guts to wear it. You can pick up relatively inexpensive tourbillons from chinese manufacturers that would be gen and then it would just be whether or not it suited the wearers style. I wouldn't wear them as I like utilitarian complications and in a wristwatch I don't buy a tourbillon being one.

I'm not a fan of tourbillons in a wristwatch but I do like them in their original place in pocket watches.

With sunglasses a lot depends on your face shape and size. Personally I wear clubmasters and wayfarers. I'm a young guy but they have a somewhat classic look to them.

The quality of the softgoods isn't too bad, I haven't handled the gen so can't do too much comparison. As for the burberry trench I wish I could find one on ebay for anywhere near that price, but being in Australia and a very small size does not help at all.

I think Ken can get them, though not sure. I've heard of problems with them (I'm assuming you're talking about a Burberry Trench) as far as burberry hunting down factories etc.

Who in their right mind would go to a sketchy deal where a guy shows up with backup, let the watch be authenticated by phone and then pay cash? I call a troll and if it isn't then I have lost a bit of faith in humanity.
