  1. They're great watches wear it in good health
  2. Wow, I'm not usually a raffle man, but I think that will change with this one.
  3. I think we need a rep of this. Gorgeous watch that's imo is much better looking than the normal BBs
  4. First day home from university so went exploring the Australian outback. Think I picked the right watch for the job.
  5. Will be interesting to see. Shame that even in the dustbag it got damaged.
  6. I can see this getting pinned pretty soon. Brilliant post.
  7. So it was you that snapped this one up. Lovely watch, wear it in good health.
  8. I look forward to seeing it
  9. I may upload a couple of photos of the whole assembly if I take it apart again.
  10. Yeah, it's like a plastic washer sort of thing that the bezel mechanism fits over. It's odd. I'll try to upload a photo at some point when I get a bezel insert to swap.
  11. Okay guys, in line with my ignorantly destructive habits with reps I took the bezel off of my cartel 1675. There was no metal washer. What there was was a plastic ring that fit around the crystal over which a quite strange bezel mechanic pressure fit. It was certainly not gen like in construction. The bezel and the turning portion were one piece that were built into each other (I may take pictures but as I have put it back together not I'm not too eager to pull it apart again).
  12. Hi all, I just bought a watch from a TD here and ordered the asian ETA movement. Since I have gotten the watch I decided to take the back off to check and unlike asian ETAs I've gotten in the past this one has ETA stamping. Do asian ETAs exist with the gen stamping and if so is it common for them to be in TD's watches or by some fluke have I gotten a swiss? Thanks all, HaydenM
  13. Great look for the apple watch
  14. Just got a 1675 but my old TD could only source one with a downright shocking bezel insert and a GMT hand that almost scraped the rehaut and when I rejected it I got an immediate refund as they said that was all there was. I messaged Josh the next day and I write this with my 1675 on my wrist. Far from perfect but better than what the other TD had.
  15. I was meaning for first timers as I had to swap to another TD as my old one couldn't source me the watch I needed. So I'll just confirm that Josh takes PP
  16. Not here in Australia. Father's day is the first sunday of September here.
  17. Got my cartel 1675 today.
  18. Joined eight months ago (almost 9) and you've only made 2 posts? Seriously do some reading. There's asking silly questions and then there is just downright laziness. If I point you to the best 1680 then what if you want a 5512, or a 5513, a 5514 a 6538 a 5508. I hope you can understand that the question isn't understandable and 99% of the time is asked by people who make an account, want their watch now (that they have too high expectations for) and then will leave and not contribute anything. Read around the forum, get to know everybody and you will catch the addiction and be able to answer the question "Who has the best sub?" with "me".
  19. Not father's day here down under. But just finished my last exam and came home to a package and my new acquisition.
  20. Okay, this one pretty much turns completely freely, no downward pressure needed and definitely no locking in place.
  21. Hi All, I received a cartel 1675 but when I received it the bezel has no clicks. Any way to fix this or should I get in contact with the seller ( aTD) Thanks, HaydenM
