  1. This has always been my favorite boner! Can you spot the mistake?
  2. I'm far from a homophobe. I have known many gay and lesbians, and have found most to be very colorful and kind people. Living in Toronto, the home of one of the worlds largest Pride parades, I have never understood how publicly flaunting deviant behavior, public nudity, and performing public acts that would get you arrested on any other day can be considered as pride. Every year the mayor is front and center, not because he wants to, but because he has to. Politicians are in my opinion extorted into hosting this debacle, lest they feel the ramifications of the gay voters, who always turn out in large numbers. Believe me, most hetro people feel the same way, but will never speak up for fear of being labeled a bigot or homophobe.
  3. If I'm not mistaken, doesn't the plate on the right side of the regulator say "25 Jewels - Swiss"?
  4. True, hopefully the rep makers get that sorted out on the next version. The managed to sort it out on the PO Chrono, why not on the Navitimer?
  5. He'll get back to you. If it isn't sold, I'd snap it up. Great price with all those mods, its as close as you will ever get to a gen without paying full pop
  6. BTW, i would really consider saving a lot of money and effort, and pick up this modded 6-9-12 Navi http://www.rwg.cc/members/FSOT-Breitling-N...ial-t30112.html
  7. I really love this watch but I'm waiting for an updated dial. The new SMP chrono has the complete omega logo + text in badge form. Looks miles better IMO. Still can't help but salivate every time I see one of these! Thanks BT.
  8. For the mod you are planning, you are 100% correct. The 1st gen Navis have the accurate slide rule, and more importantly, hands that are compatible with a 7753. A gen dial is also required, as the date window on the rep is in the wrong position. The dial will need to be carefully ground down, as it is about 1mm too big for the rep case. Other than that everything should fit together nicely. Having said that, I have yet to see anybody do this mod, probably because of the high cost and rarity of the 7753 movement.
  9. Although the Colt is a very nice rep, its accuracy is way off the mark. Visually, the subdials are slightly too big and serve different functions than on the gen. You will also notice that the gen features two second hands. One is for the seconds chrono, the other is for calculating split times (I think). The gen also features a time-zone adjustment feature. The rep appears to be of the older version of the Colt Chrono (Ver I), as the dial has a uniform pattern of concentric circles. The version II dial has thicker circles toward the outer edge. The rep bezel is also an indicator of it being Ver I, as it lack numbers at the 5, 10 and 20. On the Version I image I have posted, the bezel marks appear to be black. My Breitling catalogue shows no color, so I believe this one has been modded. REP GEN VERSION I GEN VERSION II
  10. Hey dude, if it makes you feel any better, I really like the watch. I'd definitely fix up the edge of the bezel, but other than that I think its a nice piece. If you wanted the date window you should have opted for the 7750 version, but the seagull movement in yours will probably serve you better! Cheers.
  11. Wrong rehaut depth on these. Dial is way too close to the crystal. Bracelet is wrong, Pearl is wrong, no AR, mineral glass, He valve is in the wrong place, Omega logo is a little too big, and we haven't seen the back yet.
  12. Somebody must have one of these lying around. I'd love to see this mod happen!
  13. That is sooo small, I would just live with it.
  14. Thats the bonus of having the older version...
