  1. I've got a hadley roma for both my 42 an 45mm POs
  2. Hey Dutch, thats an awesome looking combination with the gen leather strap. Nothing beats genuine Breitling leather! I really think that the Two-Tone effect suits this watch more than any other Breit. Wear it well my friend!
  3. Love the Navi, and wearing it as we speak! Thanks for the pics By-Tor.
  4. I believe there is a gen black strap for sale on this very board for about $60. Its used, but don't be put off, these things are made to last a lifetime!
  5. Congrats Stephane, and thanks for all your contributions to the site!
  6. Not sure which strap you have, so I'll assume that its the old strap. As the previous poster stated, the best, most accurate strap right now is from our dealers. It is very difficult to tell it from the genuine. The Bob strap was the best alternative, until this new rep strap came out!
  7. That is not the seagull/lemania movement. The seagull has no date function.
  8. Not sure if the omega deployant will fit or not. It should though. It comes with a tang buckle, but because of the placement of the keeper, I found it difficult to get undone. I like deployants on my straps anyway!
  9. This combination drew a number of responses in the wristcheck forums, so I thought I'd post a few pics here
  10. yechhhh, unless you happen to be a rapper, a chick or a flaming homosexual, save your money.
  11. IMO, the pearl just looks wrong. The genuine like the UPO, peaks up through the bezel insert. Yours looks to be glued on. The dial printing is slightly off, but thats no big deal. The large hour markers look to be a better shape than the ultimate, but the lume doesn't seem to fill them as much as it should. Your hour markers look small, and as you mentioned, the he valve is not positioned correctly. Does yours have AR?. Really, its a nice piece, but I'm still giving the edge to the UPO. Fixing the logo is a giant step forward, as that is the biggest "tell" in my opinion.
  12. I believe the gen tube is too small. Read the following thread http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showto...904&hl=tube After reading it again I noticed that his picture is showing the Silix 45mm PO. Not sure if this uses the same case/tube design as the Ultimate. Takashi has done tube replacements on 42mm versions only, so I assume that is what you are referring to. Shortening the crown is an easy fix. The pic below shows my repaired black PO next to my perfect orange version. Looks good to me
  13. Contact The Zigmeister. You will need a cleaning and service. It'll cost about $200, but you will end up with a solid movement that will give you many years of service. Your other option would be to sell it and buy a new one.
  14. Nice lookin watch Pug! Im wearing this...
  15. Correct. Of course the hands are different in order to fit the asian movement, but are visually the same.
  16. both mine are running well at about 6 months.
  17. Apparantly there was one other watch worn on the moon. On entry, one of the speedies exploded, so a backup watch was used. It was a Waltham. Although there is no evidence of the exact model, it was described by one of the astronauts as being very similar in style to the speedy. The waltham is now known as "the other watch worn on the moon".
  18. Bingo! Nascar fans aren't the brightest lot. New to the idea of Tachymeters, the simply assumed that the numbers represented Kilometers. The barainiacs converted them to Miles (60 KM = 37 Mi) for there left turn only clientele. Sweeeet! BTW, for the uneducated, the numbers on the tacy ring represent units of distance (ft, yds, km, mi). They are not any measurement in particular.
  19. The flaw is a lot bigger than that gran. Remember this is a nascar watch, aimed at the good ole boys!
