Not in Canada my friend. And the constitution was written long ago. The right to carry guns was meant to protect the population from wildlife and hostile natives. Its stupid to keep harping on about the stupid constitution. Its outdated!!

That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Guns certainly are the problem. If your country is inundated with firearms there is a huge chance that many will end up in the hands of criminals and mentally unstable people. Americans are just plain stupid. You've let the NRA become one of the most powerful influences to government and they've brainwashed you. Just look at the levels of gun violence in Canada, and the only thing that separates us is a chain link fence. United States: 9,369 Canada: 144

Hands aren't white on the gen. The hands and numbers on the dial are chromed. Personally I liked the Skyland with the white hands better. It makes it far easier to read, and I find that the new Avengers just have a "muddy" look to them.

Start by tightening the caseback as they are usually loose. Then put it on the vanity while you have a hot shower. No fog on the inside of the crystal? If it passes that test the I do the hot water test that Nanuq mentioned. Never had a problem, but I never even bother to test chrono watches. To many places for failure on those.

It would be interesting to see the actual date wheel from this movement. With the date window being so far inboard, the date wheel would need to be extremely small. I just don't understand how they could get 31 numbers on there, especially given the size of the window and the amount of white space around the numbers?

Not saying that either one is better. A V2 is perceived to be better and the price is generally a lot more than a V3. If the OP paid for a V2 and is getting a V3, he is being ripped off.

Take a look at the pictures below, and notice the 1's on the bezel. On the V3 they are improperly shaped, more like an arrowhead. On the V2 there are two definite lines that form the number and the serif. Also note that on the V2, the numbers on the bezel are slightly outboard and closer to the outer edge. On the V3s the numerals are centered with an equal amount of space on the inside and outside. V3 V2

Have you sized the bracelet yet? If you have any extra links, try one of the screws from there. My guess is that it probably will fit.

That is a V3 not a V2. The tell is in the shape of the 1's on the bezel and rider tab. Do not accept it and demand a V2.

Contact Polexpete. He came up with a great method for relocating the crown/tube on his 7753 transplants. Do your pushers line up or are they off too?

Its a mish mash of pieces. Ugly and inaccurate. The subdials are simple date indicators. The one that goes up to 7 indicates the day and I think it switches automatically, and the one with the 12 indicates the month, and has to be manually advanced with the pusher. Save your money and buy a decent rep, you will be much happier.
