  1. Hey Dave, congrats on another great watch! I'd love to see a pic of your entire Breit collection, or even better, in person whenever someone gets around to doing a gta-gtg!
  2. When they get the bracelet I'll consider it if its the same price.
  3. Unfortunately it is not available with a bracelet. Great price none the less, and a huge savings for half a lume dot!
  4. Or you could replace the whole watch if necessary. With most A7750s in the $250 range, it really doesn't make a lot of sense to spend over $200 for service unless the watch is an old factory collectable or has some sentimental value.
  5. I'm really not fond of the holes in the Ocean Racer and I prefer the original diver strap much more, but that buckle is so sexy I just need to have one!
  6. Lani, you sold me with the SMP Chrono. I tried and tried and found it virtually impossible to get a decent pic of that dial, yet yours looks beauty... and on a wristie no less! I gotta do that to mine, and my chrono avenger as well.
  7. Was just going to say that this is a watch Dave would appreciate
  8. My guess is that your banning is based on your threats to make the PMs public. A quick, unexpected ban would make sure that you no longer had access to your PM box, and that what was intended to be private stayed private. I don't always agree with the way sites are run, and Repgeek has taken a proactive approach to keep controversy and drama away from their board. Not saying I agree with it, but thats the way they manage their house, and I'm not about to try and change their policy. We all have the freedom to go where we choose, but we must abide by the rules of the sites we visit. It seems that CBR was warned, and chose to ignore that warning, so he was shown the door. I think its a mistake on RG's part, but its their site.
  9. The reason for the expense is that the dealers are simply charging more for watches using the seconds at three 7750. The watch is overpriced, and simply not my cup of tea. But, it really does look like a nicely made piece, and that I can appreciate. Congrats on your new watch Richard!
  10. What has likely happened is that one of the "feet" or anchor posts, on the back of the dial has broken off. This causes the movement to pull away from the dial as you pull out the crown. The only way to fix is to remove the dial, and use either two sided tape or glue to secure the dial to the movement.
  11. 3.5 hrs really ain't that bad mate. Try tweaking the power conservation settings. You may be able to get it up over 4hrs.
  12. Actually the UPO Lite has a sapphire crystal.

    ETA

LOL, thats a pretty ironic quote right there! Hows the other one doing Zig?
  14. My guess is the smudge is on the inside of the crystal, or that the AR on the inside of the crystal has been damaged.
  15. Btw, you should be aware that you can't change straps on this one as the bracelet in integrated.
  16. Not sure about the price but the Heritage is not a limited edition. It was produced since 2001 and I believe it was discontinued last year. Here are some specs for you... Specifications Model: Navitimer Heritage Production Years: 2001-Present Movement: Breitling 35 Power Reserve: 42 Hours Water Resistance: 30m Bezel: Bidirectional Crown: Push-Down Crystal: Sapphire Diameter: 43mm Thickness: 15.4mm Weight: 173.6g Bracelet: Integrated Navitimer Lug Width: N/A Watchwinder Direction: Both Reference Numbers: a35350, b35350 k35350 j35350
  17. Firstly, like anything else, you get what you pay for. The Silix PO is not ETA, it is an Asian copy, and the datewheel seems to be white with a black sticker on it. They all have that white line on the side as thats where the sticker ends. As far as the crown goes, I would remove the crown and stem, the separate the crown from the stem. See if it screws down all the way. If so, simply shorten your stem a little and reassemble. My guess is that the stem is just a little too long.
  18. I've kind of given up on the sales sections of all forums. In the old days you could pick up some nice deals, but these days the sales sections are like shark tanks, with people whose only interest is to buy cheap and sell high. They never contribute to the forums by writing about their new acquisitions, and their only interest is saving money or profiting. I know you are a great contributor here CBR, but you are the type of person that RG and RWI despise. I am sure that the members at these forums would prefer their sales sections cater to their own members, just as we would prefer it here as well. If you are taking the time to visit their forums, why no stop by and participate in some of their discussions as well?
  19. Agreed with the above. Brown shades seem to work nicely with the titanium. Also, think about a divers strap, they look awesome as well!
  20. Josh had mentioned that the black steel Skyland would follow the Skyland's release by several months. However, as Josh's Skyland was the V1, it would follow that the only confirmed black steel would also be V1. No word on if there are any plans for a V2 black steel.
  21. You guys have all got me drooling over your shiny new Skylands, so I've been wearing my dull old Chrono Avenger lately
  22. I'll agree with BT that the Omega looks to be a gen.
  23. TTK is gone Victoria is gone Admin is back And the Skyland is cheap and magnificent!
