I don't have any experience in this, but I have just ordered a RG 15400 TF factory model with miyota movement. I've specifically asked for it in the black leather and can't wait for it to come. Just awaiting the QC pics but hope to have it by the end of next week. Will let you know what it's like.

Thanks for the advice guys. The watch is now back with Rolie who has in hand a new lumed pearl from Big Dazza and a Generic Tropic No. 21 plexi fresh in from cousins for sanding and fitting. Can thank Neil enough for his willingness to help again. Last minute decision....I have ordered a new bezel insert from Yuki. It's not going to look as battered as it once was but at least the insert won't be bent. Spec Sheet: Case: Silix, lugs re-drilled and polished and gen spec 2mm spring bars fitted (Daz). Spring bar ends rounded for more gen look (Daz). Lugs and case shaped, softened and polished (ROLIE) Bezel: Silix Bezel insert: Yuki with Yuki acrylic pearl relumed by Daz Crown: Athaya 8mm Brevet V2 Dial: Raffles time dial relumed and textured by Daz Hands: Raffles time Minute and Hour aged and relumed by Daz Movement: Genuine Swiss ETA 2879 Plexi: Rolex Generic Tropic Glass No. 21 (custom lowered by Rolie) Bracelet: StoneP Rivet bracelet new in. Will need some sanding and softening.

I can back this up. Darren absolutely transformed my Big crown, his dial work is superb!!! Sadly she's taken a knock today courtesy of the kitchen floor! New pearl and crystal needed! Dial when it came back from Darren Damaged today

Ive just dropped my 6538 and cracked the Plexi and smashed the acrylic Pearl. I've not long had it back from Rolie who put the plexi in for me. He's thankfully agreed to take a look at I again, and thankfully this isn't an expensive plexi...don't know what I'd do without him That said I'm going to need to find a replacement bezel pearl and/or bezel insert. Do any of you guys have anything in your parts bins to help me out? The Pearl, Dial and Hands were all relumed by Big Dazza so I've sent him a PM to see if he has anything, but I'd thought I'd throw it out there. Could cry right now!

If you search some recent threads many who were lucky enough to buy these bracelets when in stock were asking Yuki to convert the bracelet before shipping. Clearly and sadly he's no longer doing this

Thanks for this, very interesting. I haven't been able to find any other supplier who can get a bracelet even close to Yuki's. I'm not sure who his supplier is but clearly they either only produce small batches or Yuki only buys them in small amounts. I doubt it's the latter as Yuki has such a demand for them he'd unlikely but small batches. I know previously Yuki was offering them in 2mm gen spec sizes so it's strange now he specifically says it can't fit 2mm. Anyway I look forward to seeing your update. But equally I will keep my ear to the ground for anyone selling their bracelet

Was very disappointed not only to see the bracelet was still out of stock but that it now no longer accepts gen spec bars! Could really do with one of these bracelets for my 6538 build if anyone is willing to part.....pretty please!
