Of course yes... One theory is that you can sell "unpopular" models only once, whereas you can sell a Rolex 4 times to those who look for the "ultimate" version... (I know, that's not a very friendly answer, but I'm quite convinced of that). On the other hand, I love MB watches, so I'm pretty glad they now have 2 excellent reps : the Timewalker and this one. I'd love a Star Chrono as well. Look at this beautiful Montblanc engraving. The same coments apply for my new Baume&Mercier Riviera XXL : spot on, from the first version. Mmm... Now, the everlasting question : black or white flavour ?

Even if this is the so called "lite version" I found the HBB to be one of the best (if not the best) rep received out of the box. I mean from the quality and finishing point of view. I paid some watches much more expensive, which had a disappointing level for the price. The HBB is definitely one of the winner for 2007. The black Magic has just been released as a lite version. Good alternative.

The problem I see in this crown is that it's pretty difficult to manually wind when you want to start it... As for the bracelet, I am wondering if finally I should not change my tools ..?

Hi, from my side, I would love a good replica of the Montblanc Stars series, especially the Chrono XL. Same quality as they did the Timewalker. Actually the MB Star was my first rep, so it has also some kind of sentimental value :-) But current ones are really lame... We have already a few things to have a good rep : 7750 layout, hands and buckle, even the existing rep bracelets are not that bad. Make it for less than 300 dollars, I'd buy it in a minute.

Whatever the mistake is, this rep remains the best Montblanc rep and one of the most accurate amongst all reps. The rose gold is gorgeous too, I would go for a brown strap, personally, as seen on the catalogue.
