Autographed photos of Archie Luxury, only 10 dollars! damn, put me down for...... um, none! Thanks for warning me that his video went from elevator music to him shouting in his annoying voice, although, all of his videos start like that so I guess I half expected it. -

hysek abyss explorer 28800 is actually 21600.
icoopernicus replied to snubben123's topic in General Discussion
The timer could have been manually set to 21600 although I imagine this would give an inaccurate reading from the watch. Of course they could have received a watch with a 21j movement by mistake and just not realized that it wasn't what you had ordered. Either way, good catch, hopefully you get the right watch eventually. -
Finally off for a weekend, I'll start with the Day Date for the morning and update with any changes.

Mine won't wear the DSSD either, she said it was way too big , again, I thought it was supper hot!

Took some new pics today while I was getting ready for work. This is the first watch that I absolutely fell in love with and the one that got me into the rep game before I could afford a gen. I still think is beautiful. Forgot to change the date to the first

I stumbled across his videos watching watch reviews at work, definitely worth a chuckle, he is a bit of a joke though. -
This is why I prefer a bracelet that is all brushed, so easy to refinish with a light brushing. Great to hear that you got your dads watch back to him, looking better than ever.

If you could ask a rep Tag Heuer by Noob...
icoopernicus replied to Biodom's topic in The Tag Heuer Area
I would love to see a Jack Heuer Carrera, excellent choice +1 for the monaco, we need a good rep of this timeless piece. -
I just order my wife a black Tag F1 with the diamond bezel excited to see it come in, looked great in the QC pics. Right now her go to watch is a coke bezel GMT, looks great on her and she wears it regularly in an office. If you want your girl to kill it at the office, get her a DSSD - I'm trying to get my girlfriend into one as we speek. maybe your girlfriend just can't pull off that level of mad style I'm messing with you man!

My workplace is a cornucopia of Walmart specials, $20 max, velcro strap, digital display, it is really aweful. On the bright side, some of the control room guys can be spotted wearing some decent pieces. Breitling Blackbird the other day, one guy rotates a no date sub, Doxa sub, and a hideous RADO, have also spotted a Speedmaster pro and a Heuer Autavia.

About the E-Type Jag parked at the back of the lot, I might have parked next to that car myself and have been known to do just that. I figure I can park there, leave a pretty good gap but not big enough for someone else to park in, and there's no way he is going to hit me with his car and whether or not he knows it I am not going to hit his car with mine. No one else can park next to him and be careless with his beautiful car and I'm definitely safe there - it's win win for both parties I don't think that is what the minivan drivers were doing
-
That car is an Infiniti FX45, the wheels are for the winter tires, I think their Mercedes AMG style wheels

Hey Z, no nudity, this is a family place After some deliberation, I have chosen the Carrera for my day off.

If you go with any ETA movement you are getting a perfectly good movement that can be taken to any watchmaker and serviced or repaired as parts are readily available for them. 2824 and 2836-2 are used in much more expensive swiss watches, you'll pay $300 for a rep with one of these movements in it but easily up to a $1000 for a gen using exactly the same movement. Anything that is an Asian copy of an ETA movement will also be perfectly good but you maybe have trouble getting it repaired. Servicing and oiling shouldn't be a problem though. With the Asian copies, if it breaks, you can just replace the movement, this would more than likely be cheaper than having it repaired and then serviced. Asian 21j movements are 21,600bph (if I'm not mistaken) but they are perfectly functional and very cheap, these can cut your costs greatly if that is an issue (it sure can be in this hobby) Best of luck firstomy!
