  1. It's crazy to me to think that people still live in places where you could get eaten collecting your mail. God bless you Nanuq. Thank goodness for pussies like me that SoCal exists. My only concern when I walk outside is that I have my sunglasses with me so I don't have to squint in the bright sun.
  2. I have a gen crystal in my sub and it does have a slight blue tint. However, not as noticeable as on reps.
  3. I did 44 hrs straight working the entire time very recently. Luckily, that was it for me. I can't imagine going much longer. By about 38 hrs I started to really lose the ability to focus and my brain was considerably slower. I felt like I was almost in a haze. At this point I believe your body is staying awake using adrenaline. I was sitting at a desk so I would do a few push ups or something along those lines to get the blood flowing.
  4. Well the magnetic field falls off by the distance squared so there is a very fine line between too close and fine and the line is likely very close to the magnet.
  5. But Rolex's trademarks have not. This website, well more the sale of the products, is def illegal by US standards and will eventually be shut down. It's basically like whack a mole. They shut it down and 3 days later it's up again under a diff domain. It's much more difficult to shut down a domain listed under certain country domains like China's instead of .com. Eventually they figure that out and park it there.
  6. Kinda disappointed with you guys. Vegas is Disneyland for adults. It's about getting dressed up, drinking too much, having a beautiful girl on your arm with not enough clothing, and spending too much money, which you hopefully won at the BJ table. I wear my gen tag with gen diamond bezel all the time there. To me, it's part of the fun of going to Vegas. I've woke up so many times in Vegas with a wallet hang over it's ridiculous. But you know what, everyone of those is one of the best times of my life. Here's to iced out watches in Vegas and convincing the hottest girl you've ever seen that she should go home with you. Let's face it, she's not going to call you out so it can't hurt.
  7. CHS = Correct Hand Stack vs. ICHS = InCorrect Hand Stack
  8. As far as iced out watches go, I think it's the best looking one I've seen. Nice choice. Will work perfectly in Vegas.
  9. Just adding to the fun. Gen dial, gen bezel and insert, Vac Lume hands, Sunnydale double AR xtal. I actually prefer the older style dial but this gen dial is really nice. Lume is also as always on Omegas
  10. Interesting that the Fakewatchbuster gives a shout out to his "team of experts." You know some of those team members must be members.
  11. Just finished gen dial installation, which was accompanied by a hr wheel stem snapping off and staying with the chrono hand when I removed the hand and the keyless works breaking when I removed the stem. All back together and working with new dial installed. Miracle
  12. Oh, btw, I also figured out why some watch smiths won't touch these movements. A number of pieces broke during the process for no reason. Luckily I had a A7753 in the parts been I could scavenge. However, it was ridiculous how many pieces broke or just fell apart during this process.
  13. Figured it out. On the 7750, the setting lever in the keyless works is supposed to be press fit together with the pin you push to release the stem. These came apart on my movement and that's why the pin popped out shown in the photo above. This totally Fs the keyless works because the setting lever pivots about that pin, which doubles as the stem release. Accordingly, if they come apart, the setting lever is just floating instead of being secured in pivotal position. Swapped the part out with one from a 7753 I had and put the movement back together about 7 different times and finally everything works perfectly with the gen dial installed. Miracle really. My first successful 7750 surgery. The dial side seems to be a little more forgiving than the back side. Look at the sweet gen dial...
  14. Hey guys, trying to put a gen dial on my SMP 300 chrono and I can't get the stem back in. I've read that this can be very tricky on the A7750 but it just won't go in for me. I figured the keyless was mucked up so took the top plate off to have a look and it looks ok to me. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/ 14/07/16/ty2ebame.jpg Can anyone see anything out of wack from my pics? I found this awesome tutorial on RWI about 7750 keyless and fixing the yoke but my yoke is sitting right in the groove so that's not it. http://www.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php?t=135678 Symptoms are: 1. Stem goes in and will wind watch when turned. Even clicks in slightly farther when wiggled but still winds watch. Always pulls out and only ever winds the watch. No date set or time set. 2. The little tab you push to allow the stem to release completely falls out of the movement when turned upside down. It also gets ejected on ocassion when you click the stem in the extra notch talked about above in 1. I can put it back in and press on it but doesn't seem to help. :-( Here's a pic of it laying on the table. Is this normal? Did something break? Any thoughts guys. I really want to get this back together and on my wrist. Thanks, Jedi
