  1. Who knows that dealer is unknown you might get a watch you might not ,go to dealer section find a trusted dealer.
  2. peter not a Omega guy sure others will chime in per models pros and cons but you are correct Noob is a factory all dealers buy from. Now as far as waterproofing it is a crap shoot with reps IMHO.
  3. I talk to everybody i deal with either way, this is our hobby for fun not a business.
  4. Tonight's menu: Took a break from my studies to cook one of the sides mashed cauliflower with prosciutto. Also fresh corn on the cob from local farm , just the way you buy it husk on in the oven 45 min 350 ,great every time. And of course sirloin of beef filet broiled. Salad doing endive ,radicchio and arugula. A Monday night at the Mike on a bike house!. I know I know Pics, busy cooking!!! Been beating the hell out of this oven ,gotta run auto clean now that it is getting cool. Five hours to self clean in the summer is a bad idea!
  5. Good detective work steel, I let it be as Andy had the ball but good work never the less.
  6. marti if you were conus I would send it over for a photo shoot!
  7. "Well said Pete. I too believe some of the comments in this thread have been counter productive. I don't agree with the way Mike has reacted in his responses but when measured against his issues and the human nature of people in general to attack when cornered, much of his reaction is predictable. As I tried to say earlier in the thread, and I am significantly invested over a couple of months, time and space will get us further, and more quickly, than this continued attack mode from many of those affected. Much of what's been said about business practices is true but beating dead horses never accomplished anything." + 1
  8. Damn Cromag you need more wrist for that beauty, go on a high carb diet! LOL Nice piece looking forward to your pics. PS 6.37 boy do I have a sh*t load of watches I can not wear for you!

  12. Marty sorry never caught this " What bad things they say about Swiss Legend then?" they get a bad wrap on most boards put up a Seiko diver everybody all shits and giggles one of these no big deal. If I can find the camera I will post a pic of another one I have or rather should send to you to take (you are great at it). I will post a thread in other brand area ,just watch the reaction or lack of and it may get some play cause all the know me. but over all just not well received.
  13. Here is your answers: http://www.rwg.bz/board/index.php?showtopic=42611
  14. Mike no one was told not to say anything positive a matter of fact quite the contrary is true. Although I cannot ban anyone I have personally PMed people to tone it down on the negative side and not jump all over you. Behind the scene I have been very very active having received many PMs for help by members seeking communication with you I have advised restraint and for the most part was able to get the guys on board but at some point little by little they got tired of waiting for news. I will admit that some positive posters were criticized by others on the thread but that was in the open as there was a difference of opinion, that can't be stopped. (You know that)
  15. You mean a 120 Euro right , for both no big deal. That is 80 USDs each a little high but OK no big deal at that price point.
  16. Tony, " This has been going on for a while. Is there a count of how many projects md has had going on?" fraggle is getting together a list I would PM him in regard, also any others that have stuff out there it would be a good idea. The list will be going to MD/Mike to help with organizing work/returns.
  17. Deckard "I am the same. Had only one Panerai. In the initial period of this hobby i was going through different makes looking for the ones i will definitely keep. Since I sold PAM i have never look at another one. For some of You guys might sound like a blasphemy but i have exactly same feelings towards AP and Hublot." I will take the heat with you as a blasphemer no AP's or Hublot in my stable what so ever as stated above have settled on one and wear once in awhile on Pams. It is sterile by the way. It is about the different style from all the other watches I see around, so I have one. Pete funny you mention getting more popular, was working in ICU notice fairly young Doc (low thirties) to my amazement as I catch a look at the wrist as he is discussing a patient with group of students a PAM ! Saw him a week later at cafe different brand on the wrist maybe a Rep guy? No idea which one guys did not get close enough even then I do not know them that well. Really a shame I did not take to them in a big way as as you can see my wrist swallows them not the other way as with most. Bad pic but good for scale. So my thirty or so divers of different sorts will be my collection and the search for the holy grail Rolex or Tudor that plays large enough for me on the wrist continues!
