  1. Guys been getting a lot of PMs in regard to little things some are having problems with and do try to help where I can .  Unfortunately I know nothing of this new software that is to say no more than you. This being said we have some real smart guys on the forum in regard to these questions, also our strength is in our collective efforts to do this and that successfully. So make a thread here in General D. "Guys anyone able to do this or having a problem w/ that" in this way we all get the benefit of each others efforts to do things with it not just my tech challenged answers! :partytime:

Maybe everyone just post here that way we have in one place.

  2. Well I guess between Legend and Panerai153 that about sums it up. (they write so much better than I can)  I will just add this on reading their posts in them you get the overall perspective of our board: this is what we strive to be, thoughtful, mature, measured. This is not to disparage other boards and their mods whom I count as friends their volume does not allow it, but here we can so we do.

True Ken and of course we/I are not blind to it but in this case the OP and Toro got screwed by the other half hence the second chance.

  3. Don't buy Swiss ETA from a TD. Not worth the worry and given how supply of ETA movements is currently if you were to get one it would be old stock and you'd get the problems that can come along with that. If you really want a Swiss ETA then buy A2836-2 with the watch and then source an ETA 2836-2 and get a watchsmith to do the (simple) swap.

    This also.

  4. Just to chime in regardless of microns of thickness:  wrapped - sides of links also gold, plated - sides not gold stainless. < big tell. There was a big to do over this year or so ago as I remember: guy sold as wrapped but it was was plated sides of links dead give away.  I really always wanted one of these have seen gens like them but I have not, why: well in reps we can do stainless pretty well and a TC w/ a few gen parts is pretty damn close, in gold ain't cutting it we do not do that good enough yet.

  5. Big in Asia Hmm.........,  not to stereo type but my friends in Asia tend to have smaller wrists than western men  for the most part why they gravitate to larger watches is beyond me.

( not using myself everybody smaller than me)
