Ok so is this the enw dial from the link at the very top (with the red letters) or just the old dial without the 3 o clock marker? I'm confused

It seems these newer SMP reps are worst than the ones people mention were around abouta year ago. In any case i guess one can try to locate the new style gen dial and hands and hope you purchase a running ETA powered SMP even those with missing 3 markers. cant the same factories producing the very popular and some-what accurate uPO's and SMP cronos make the regular SMP

Yes this thread is a much needed one, as my only post to that other hate filled thread was commenting on the idea of pitchforks and torches, I jumped on here mid January and things didn't appear this way, I trully hope when the dust settles everything will be back to normal. BTW very good point in reminding everyone that this hobby isn't excatly like collecting baseball cards (unless you consider forged Babe Ruth Autographed cards) Sometimes people think these dealers are an AD and in reality most dealers go well beyond their duty to satisfy a customer and in all reality thats what makes the price of a gen what it is...service.

Well since were on page 13 in less than 24 horus this must be a big problem. But maybe some of us are taking this vendetta a bit too far, lets not forget this is not Walmart (as much as we may beleive things are turning into such) this is an underground hobby and as such it will inherently posses underground marketing structures, they may not satisfy all and some of the most pleased customers can have their black day eventually and all hell can break lose. I say make a formal request for an explenation and a civil exhange of ideas. But at certain parts of this thread I can almost hear the pitchforks torches.

Well , I understand and can appreciate the classic look of the standard SMP, but just maybe the rep factories with their newly acquired skill at producing super-reps can make this baby look as good as gen..i mean correct pins on bracelet He valve placement, better wave pattern correctly alligned bezel insert (out of the box) Maybe just maybe, we can have this beauty in our hands one day soon I hope.

Comming up on my 3rd month anniversary as an RWG member I can safely say a part of me is still astonished by the reps that are being produced, and with that aside i'm very glad I found this palce and the people that belong to these boards are amazing, it almost does make you want to keep it closed for others to see but at the same time i think about how I would have never found it if things were sooo hush hush. Maybe some sort of balance between discretion and obscurity would assure this entire movement to remain an underground thing. Sort of like..I want to tell all my buddies but at the same time, I'm better off keeping this to myself..

Well for those of us who purchase reps this sort of progress on the manufacturing side is trully welcomed...But it's very disturbing to those who look at places like ebay for deals on gens.. as i can only imagine the amount of scams that will shortly arise from such accurate reps being produced each day

Yes i have a steelfish and yes there is good resistance on the bezel I actually thought when others mentioned "loose" it was loose as in possibly falling off or not the right diameter. How would you rate the super avenger to say a Bentley ?

I have a question..for some of you with more experiance.. Regarding the Super Avenger rep. I have seen it at several dealers sites, not sure how accurate but regardless. While doing a search here on the boards I came across what several people described as a "loose bezel" Does this mean the bezel fails in the way it clicks around? or does it not fit snuggly around the crystal? Thank you in advance as always

I'll defintely add a white face later on to my collection and i'm get the AR ETA version becasue you cant see that much detail on the blue dial I have..Nor the black from what I can tell on pics.

Miami Ink...They give it in TLC (The Learning Channel) great show not just the tattoos, each person comes in with a story for their tat, very cool show. I swing by on the weekands and their shop is always full. Even late at night. But then again they are in the heart of Miami beach surrounded by clubs and restaurants so it's a popular area.

The crystal is fine i can't see anything wrong with it..and regarding reflections it does a great job on it's own.. It comes with no AR but many times i'm holding the watch and the glass dissapears something i thought would only happen with good AR

yeah even though I went for the "lite" version I have the blue dial on SS band and it's amazing and i was very concerned with the lume before purchasing but my lume is wonderfull. Like someone already mentioned we aint talking super..but it won't be needing a lume job at least while it's in my possesion. Congrats on your watch, enjoy

I had a similar question a few weeks back regarding the 7750 movement since two of the of the dealers with web sites don't mention the 28.8k rate but after some e-mails it was comfirmed they are the new high beat rate, I was almost certain it was the cse since more likely than not they all come from the same factory. But I read it's not impossible swap just more difficult.
