By-Tor that watch is amazing, when you wrote the review for it, i was really imrpessed, in my opinion looks better than any TT Rolex out there, and even on the SS band it looks good, but leather should be acceptable as well.
-
It's what i mean, they already made the OMEGA symbol in metal and the seamaster is in red, now they need to transfer these details with their correct sizes onto a non crono SMP, fix the He valve placement use the corect pin adjustment on the band and BAM! you have the new SMP..oh and make sure it's using the correct ETA movement like the older version heck i would settle for a 21J as long as the aesthetics were correct. I know one of the collectors recently released a failed attempt at the correct SMP, but i'm certain somebody will release the correct one soon enough.
-
I soo hope they rep that model, I'm certain it would move quickly. We have a nice Omega following not just on these boards but the world over. besides the regular SMP did very well, I imagine the new version will do the same (assuming it's of equal or better quality)

I'm no rolex expert like the others here, but I will say it looks very nice, and for the price it is even better. I'm certain the experts will come along soon and comment on the CG's, rehaut and they will spot some minor flaw on the dial or end links.... i trully beleive we are worst than those who purchase the gens when it comes to picking out flaws...lol

Thank you very much, i actually had a crazy idea and found bob also sells through the bay, but i'm glad you put up his link, defintely gotta add to my favorites. Again thanks!

So no one knows what style strap i'm reffering too? So no one knows what style strap i'm reffering too?

Well at first i'l be honest i didn't find them to be very attractive, but they grew on me. I'm not even too sure what it is that made me order one. But ive read soo much, seen countless pictures that you have all provided, and it was a tough call between a fiddy and a 111h, being the newbie that I am, i decided to start small, so i just picked up a 111h. It comes with a black strap, but 99% of the great pics ive seen here they are sitting on a very nice sandy color (calf maybe?) strap, some dealers ship it out with it already, but i imagine the quality is not the same as say a nice Bob strap. But since i don't know what model strap to order from Bob i wonder if anyone can tell me what model it is. I beleive the last really good pic i saw belonged to flavor flav and his modded 111 Thanks in advance, and I guess youll be seeing me posting in this area a bit more

I would defintely sport that all gold Rolex Pres. without any doubts. I know it's not common these days, in my town only the cuban drug lords walk around in gen full gold rolex's..But me being cuban and all, i think I can pull it off

The new chrono in black dial gold case is an amazing looking watch, but it's that second at 6 that scares most poeple away..A real shame if you ask me. And by reading other stories it's sometimes luck or magic or w/e you call it that keep it from turning into a good looking paperweight.
-
The part you can't see is that he also wears a nice short skirt, and HIlary is the one wearing the pants and the 47mm Pam.
-
Every dealer should take credit cards. and use rechargeable cards or those one time card numbers from your banks..Like those posts that were around a few weeks ago. In my opinion there is no safer, cheaper way to pay for any item anywere around the world.
-
I'd like to thank the OP becasue I also had a similar curiosity regarding the 111 both g and H, but since i know absolutly nothing about Pams i decided not to ask..lol Now I am more informed thanks to you all.

ALthough the watch is great and an excellent rep, Tiger appears to be wearing eye liner?and mascara? wtf?
-
The watch is beutifull, not to mention big! Wear it well as others have already said and welcome
-
I mean sure, a 300+ watch plus a 300+ serivice your talking BCE w/swiss money right there...SO it has it's pros and cons, otherwise the watch is beutifull. Heck I might go far enoguh to say i woudln't mind wearing such a nice looking paperweight around my wrist
-
I am not a gambling man but that is very creative and gets two thumbs up from me
-
I like what I see....Oh yeah and the new concept is an excellent idea as well.

I was approached by someone looking at my watch...

Sadly I also live in a city were "high end" ussually starts at Rolex and ends there as well. Considering the great wealth the can be found here diversity in watch brands is scarce. Sure their are exceptions but i have not seen many. Oh and the RS4 is sex on wheels ive seen a few rolling around the streets here in the MIA -
Well is it that noticeable to have the asian compared to the gen? as far as the bph goes? Also why not keep the asian movmt. and have it serviced by The Zigmeister, that should give you some sort of assurance as to longevity. Although if the modifications are anything like a seconds at 6 watch then maybe it's not worth it.
-
Yeah what happened here? I was expecting the NEW one with the read letetr that go above the stem of the hands and uses metal logo and metal OMEGA letters. I'm very dissapointed and for $200+ USD ??? It looks like the roolexx you buy in a dark corner at NYC.. Considering all the new very accurate reps being released this is defintely a step backwards
-
maybe you get lucky and run into a nice swiis movmt. on that bidding site wich shall remain nameless..and wasnt it said before that the old 7750(21kbph) reps accept the swiss movmt. better than the new 7750b's if soo it can't be that bad. And if not a movement swap how how about keeping the asian heart and having it fully serviced? Isn't that a cheaper alternative than going swiss or having another $300+ SS paperweight?
-
It's a beutifull piece. Can't wait to see more details on it.
-
The pics are great, and the watch itslef looks very sharp and classy..Defintely a crono for dressy occassions. WOuld make a good companion to the already great Link crono since that model leans more towards a sporty look

My crown screws in nicely but takes some pressure on the fingers..Ive actually found it to be easuier to put the watch on it's side and using my nails lightly from the thumb on one hand and the pointer finger on the other..Might be hard to visualize but it makes it more of a balanced job. And it does require a few turns to get it in(crown) it might be due to extra o-rings for water tightness,,but i'm no expert on that.
