I cano nly speak for my SFSO, lots of pool time and 15m spear fishing off the coast of Key largo
-
This is definately a nice looking watch. I'm impressed good work Pug
-
Wow that is an interesting idea, becasue I have not seen any noticeable variation when looking at the wrist shots. But again it shouldn't really matter. All wrist shots welcome!!!

So last weekand a friend of mine drops buy, one I havn't seeni n a while and hes wearing this beutifull watch it's a cartier roadfster chrono. In all honesty I had seen pictures of them and did not like them at all. But once I got a chance to see it up close and even try it on I couldn't beleive my eyes. His is a gen, and I would be a fool to let him know my little secret His was on a nice black alligator strap and i gotta say, i have gained a new appreciation for Cartier

Such a beutifull watch, too bad i have other watch priorities in mind..otherwise , i would dfintely jump on a white dial VC Overseas.
-
Looks great!, big and bulky just how a Breitling should be
-
Who do we have to bribe in order to get this repped properly, meaning good bezel hands ands strong double sided AR like the BCE and SFSO..
-
Ruby's SFSO for 139 shipped... So we now know how much it was overpriced
Rxus replied to Pix's topic in The Breitling Area
This is a great question I hope somebody can answer.. I beleive from reading the A/R threads that only true saphire can be coated on both sides..is this true? If it is, us guys with the SFSO Lite, can enjoy the single sided AR runs that are regularly scheduled. But if mineral can be coated on both sides...it's definately worth doing even at 50-60 USD since you would still be at far lower of a price comapred to the "swiss" version. I own a blue dial SFSO on steel band, and I love my watch, sure it's missing the movement and the AR but no one seems to notice and I seem to care less if they do.Plus my watxch keeps great time a wonderfull reserve and feels like a solid block of steel on my wrist. -
This watch looks great, my only complain as someone already mentioned is the lack of double AR...You would think new Breitling releases would all come with it. It's like selling a Rolex with no sweep and expecting us to take care of that MINOR flaw
-
Well i'm no Rolex expert but they both look fantastic, enjoy. Besdies theres nothing wrong with having several variations of the same watch you have one for each day now.

A local tv station is doing a special similar to this. It's sopposed to cover not just watches but show regular citizans the different kinds of counterfeit products that can easily reach their home without notice, and offer some tips on how to spot fake goods. Good luck to them is all i can say.
-
It's been covered but certain watches take on certain roles or character. ANd some people can pull off any watch under any circumstance, but a good portion of us (myself included) have to be selective as to what to wear and when. It is true that regardless how much of a pro this jeweler might or might not be, his attitude surely didn't backup his claims. I would simply write it off as a learning experiance. We might admit that we realize we are wearing reps and that were not trying to fool anyone, but deep down inside we do pass them off as gens, every single time someone glances at our wrists and says nice watch or when they don't say anything in fear you might call them out on their own rep.
-
Truthfully they shouldn't be compared, the SFSO is a hit among us but it is a non chrono rep of a 1300-1600 watch. It is a divers watch so it's bulky heavy and looks fantastic on the wrist. And the cousteau looks just as great, and from the pics looks equally amazing. get both becasue your in a very tough situation my friend....
-
Are the Swiss Cousteaus Overall Better than the Asians?
Rxus replied to Alan_Schezar's topic in The IWC Area
i realize some people swear by the swiss version of the 7750 but i think there are far more memebrs here who would tell you that a serviced asian movement is more than enough. -
Muahaha they found a reliable movement for seconds at 6..i knew it
-
Well it looks great, and it's soo true how the dome crystal gives it that vintage look. simply amazing
-
bravo! Very nice review for a second I thoght i was reading a documentary on PBS, well at least until the pics of the watch surfaced..This thing is a real temptation err i mean beuty
-
Wow that Dressing a watch is incredible... But on a lighter side... You mean to tell me our reps arent made like this as well???
-
In reagrds to the crown, i gave up using my finger for the final few threads. I place the watch on it's side in my left palm (i'm lefty) and using my pointer from my left hand and my thumb from the right hand with the nails on each of thosde two fingers i carefully unscrew the crown..after a few about a turn and a half, i can easily turn it around and vice versa i tighten as ussual, but the final few threads need the nails. DOn't worry there is no way you can scratch the crown or the case unless you purposely sharpen your nails At first i thought i would strip the thread but no it turns out to be part of it's construction as far as waterproofing goes..One if it's flaws but a very small one that only you will know about.
-
Very nice watch, enjoy. And congrats on the graduation.

I am as far from rap and hip hop as anyone one soul can be, But back in school i had a classmate who was a big fan of a song called CREAM according to him it stands for Cash Rules Everything Around Me.. Not sure who coined the phrase..but i beleive that manty people live by such a motto. And i agree if that mentality could be changed or shifted we would have less problems in this world. Of course we all need money to survive, it's just how important we consider it too be. health>family>friends>money

Ooohh Aaaahh lovely. Can't see my self using a pocket watch truthfully. But these two look spectacular. The first one looks a lot like a watch one of the collecters was offering recently advertised as "manual w/ most complications" or something along those lines. I'm too lazy to go look for the link, please forgive me.
-
Yeah both links are not goign were you want them too.
