Behind the Music: RWG - a secret look behind the scenes of rwg.cc
Rxus replied to cornerstone's topic in The looney bin
This is good stuff, please keep them comming. An occassional poke-fun-at-each-other type deal is always a welcome thread. -
I guess they are busy looking for more ways to squeeze 300+ dollar A7750 watches at us. Personally I would prefer they fix issues with current models and convert them to super-rep status. or release models that poeple are seriously looking to buy. Like realiable and/or ultimate versions of the watches that most poeple purchase or have purchased. Few would miss out on the chance to purchase a super accurate Sub, or SD...Or how about a reliable Daytona..Maybe a Roo with running seconds at 12?

It is true, it's why the more nice watches i see while out in the town, the more I think are fakes.. But I too am glad to have found this great site and everything else it has shown me.. So i guess it's irony at it's best.

I often find myself staring at poeples wrists for two reasons: 1. To wonder what time piece is on thier wrist and wich wrist it's on of course. 2. Why some people do not wear watches. Most people I know say the same egenric messege others have posted "why have a watch when your cell phone shows the time" And that is correct, I have a cellphone as well as most of us. But it just isn't the same. I really like the example a memebr posted about being at a bar and having a lady ask for the time, and he easily gave a response with a twist of his wrist while his friends scurried about to reach their phones.

I use it a lot... But ive been using it since I began typing on forums on the net...so it's been a few years. No harm done really.

Very nice watch, enjoy it! and great honest simple review. Have it AR coated for the haters and youll be set.

If the rider tab with the pearl comes off..would it be too difficult to replace with gen part? In my opinion that allingment of the pearl is the main drawback to this rep. And I don't mean to rain on your parade anton, you have a beutifull watch there.. So my apologies in advance. Just trying to get feedback from the pro's

Basically with The Zigmeister your covered, so asian high beat or slow beat w/swap you should be good. i think it's more personal preference than anything. Like blonde or brunette, choice is yours.
-
Very nice collection By-Tor i gotta say thats a lot of SS you got there! But trully the best of the best. When I grow up i want to have By-Tors collection
-
They are both very nice. But once you see a BP up close nothing else compares. I wonder if the factories have even considered replicating the movement..and if not why not use the 6497 as the examples posted above and run the datewheel of a quartz? I mean it should fit and not be recessed if the quartz movement is placed over the unitas movement and should assist in getting the correct thickness. This with a 1:1 case and AR should make a wonderfull Super rep
-
I do hope they can sort the pearl allignment, but no one ahs mentioned that the rider tab at 6 with the "S" is also off center. What a shame, i hope factory can fix this.
-
wow thats pretty cheap, if it works for crystals that would be a very good investment.
-
Well AR issues are a thing of the past, you can regularly find double and single side AR runs being offered by some of our memebrs. Keep an eye on this section or simply search for AR coating i'm sure youll run into all the info you need and make the necessary contacts.

Congrats you noob...lol Indeed very nice pictures, keep up the good work. One day..one day i'll be that good at photoshop

Actually if their is a gen variant with ceramic bezel/SS non chrono a rep would sell pretty well. Not to mention it would be a cost effective alternative for those of us who refuse to pay 800+ for an asian 7750 watch. Maybe have a ETA version and a lite version much like the UPO both with double sided AR and saphire. Or heck make the lite version have no AR but keep the saphire.

Mine is different as well... i thought there was 10 sets of numbers? Is there more? or could i have confused this with another watch?
-
This model is great, I do hope however an SS band model is released as well as the leather option.. And as mentioned already my untrained eyes cannot spot the difference on the pushers from rep vs. gen so any pros out tehre if you could post some pics to show ...we would all gladly appreciate it. I do however notice a terrible allingment issue on the pearl and on the 6 o'clock rider tab, i hope it's lighting or perspective or maybe just that watch that was used.

Interesting, i have to say my 111h althoguh an econimcal rep as i wasnt certain if I would like Pams or not, has a nice polished case very smooth and even, no sharp edges, the cg pin is wrong though. and well i can't say anything about it's lugs as the streaps i have are not very thick.
-
I have to agree with Mike but I do applaud Angus for his attempt to lower the price on these ridiculous HBB
-
Those are nice..Heck if people can buy a B&R (that looks like was ripped out of a Cesna cockpit) why not one of these. Or some of those other Divers watches, I know someone posted a pic of an Invicta model recently that looks fantastic.. Of course i'm not suggesting our dealers waste factory time to rep an Invicta watch..lol But to take the idea and run with it. Much like Invicta has done, wich is basically to release models that mimic much more expensive watches but at lower prices. Only difference is our dealers could simply replicate the much more expensive watches part of the deal
-
very nice watch, i'm sure youll take great care of it till he can put it on safely. And whos to say you can't wear it every now and then....
-
I also think a black magic HBB fits the bill right. They both have an athletic look to them, but with class and elegance. can't go wrong my friend.
-
I'm far from an expert, but what do those of you "trained" in the art of paneristi look for to spot the flaws on the case and cg's of the replicas? I have read countless threads with mentions of cg's not looking right, cases that arent well. Even crowns that are too thin. Some of these I have learned to spot, like the canon pin, the cg level pin not flushed and obvious ones like polished cg's when they should be brushed. But aside from those obvious signs what else do you spot as a flaw?

you tube review of the breitling chrono avenger..hilarious
Rxus replied to italiano17771's topic in The Breitling Area
COnsidering this guy only has 1100 views on this particular video makes me wonder... Are the majority of them from these boards? Is it too much bad publicity? I mean this is yet another step backwards in the attempts to keep this whole little world under wraps. As it is, i'm constantly seeing watches on people in the street and telling myself at least half are reps. -
Good choices, i'm certain it will benefit us all.
