They can sell this with both ETA/asia 21j inside a nice double AR and bracelet/strap options but i think they would rather produce for A7750 watches, to me it seems their is a higher profit margin for them when using this movement choice, not to mention as others have mentioned that gen wacthes with more complications have a higher value wich transfers over to the reps as well. But still a very nice watch, should be as simple as the inginueur (sp?)

mmmm....flux capacitor, oh sorry i'll clean that up.

I don't really think we are the bulk sells that are dealers make, and if we were or still are then you have to take into consideration that this isn't just any type of business model that can be studied and manipulated. The economy can go to hell (as it currently is on it's way) and maybe those buying the watches aren't necessarily affected by the crisis. And those who are buying in euros..are having a great time buying watches at nearly 30% off! ( +/- due to the exchange rate)

They really are some great shots. I think all of us here enjoy pictures of watches!! Not sure why???
-
Steph great shot, enjoy the big apple! And have a safe trip back you and your wife! George, my prayers are with you man, few of us can sincerely say we haven't had a bad streak at life.. So believe me, most of us here know what it's like. 13 months ago i got a kidney transplant after 3 years of dialisys .. Lets just say I don't wish any of it to my worst enemy.

hmm what is the catch? No canon pin mod required same movement that we get (asian) ohh and did i notice a swan neck? not a bad deal!

I was close to going but could not convince the significant other to join me and wasnt in the mood to go solo. Im sure I missed a great show,

I'm in love with the pics, and Josh has one comming soon on his site, it's a destro model oversize is that 46mm? In any case, I WANT ONE!
-
It looks nice on the black BoB deployment. Maybe have it shot with one of those double AR coats and you'll have one amazing watch

I haven't held the rep but was able to spend a good amount of time with the gen at a local store, and when compared to the pics on our dealers sites it is a very nicely executed rep.

It has to be alot easier crossing the pond from US-EU than for example bringing to the US from abroad. I have family in spaion who wanted to bring a car back with them when they visited over here...it would have been a small pain, mostly the VAT fees, and some legal mumbo jumbo regarding non-clear turning blinkers, as they should be orange in color (the plastic). But i'm certain there might be other legalities you need to look into. I'm certain the best route for you is to consult with the European equivalent of our D.O.T Oh and good luck, the 76- camaro's are real nice projects when executed correctly

The pictures are great..Still unfortunate for those involved. But as already mentioned this is merely a representation of the really cheap stuff you get in any large city by visiting a dark alley in the downtown area. Wake up people Our reps are made in dust free well lit air conditioned white rooms, by men and women in full nylon suit and gloves as to prevent any direct contact with your watch and it's many parts. Have a nice day!

I would have thought maybe they improved the index numbers on the bezel and changed the screws on the bracelet to the flat top style...If they would have made those two minor changes then it could be called the Ultimate Perfectionist watch. Specially since it now comes with the Gen movement, some even in nickel plated.

The name branding in Casino Royale made me sick :yucky: ..but i thought the movie was ok. I guess i'll never get used to a half balding 007

The part that i still can't figure out (please consider my noobness when reading this) but if there is, was or continues to be a big hype over Panerai, why is it still soo dificult for rep makers to fix such simple and glaring issues such as the canon pin? double sided AR? crown guard? crown? cg lever? Since ive become a memebr ive seen a nice number of "super reps" released that really cover almost all if not all the bases when compared to it's gen counterpart, it puzzles me on how these panerais and their simple dial's with little to no print on them, fairly large hands and and very modest details are made soo poorly. Yes you can buy the modded models but of course thats like buying an MBW fully built from another member. Is Panerai rep making something like Rolex rep making, were there is some sort of unspoken rule about never making a 100% copy?

Why not pick up an Asian Steelfish. For around the same price you'll at least get a solid waterproof watch that has a "look" that few can offer such a price. Minus the the lack of AR and the movement it's identical to it's 300+ dollar counterpart.

The first one looks like a good candiate for replication...I'm no expert but wouldn't that layout work for an a7750 considering the date wheel is already sunken from factory and the gap is nicely covered by some sort of plastic shield that extends down to the face of the DW I like it, looks more or less in line with the other carreras we currently have, almost like a "Next Generation" type of deal.

Is that the rep aquaracer with gen rubber strap? It looks amazing.

Here are my pics :please refer to V's pics: Gotta love the 305

The hotel and everything within it's boundaries seem fantastic, the city...not soo much but to each his own plus nothing wrong with exploring new places. Oh and great pics!
-
Not bad considering what it's designed for an automatic movement seems pointless. And the gas filled lighting system looks great. I would still appreciate the rep makers to crank out a U Boat Night Vision edition..that would make my day.

Spain is beutifull, although i have always travelled near Madrid (center) and Asturias (the northern part) I have family in Oviedo. Next trip I will defintely checkout the south and mediterranean coast i know i'm missing out on a lot by not visiting those regions before. And the watch almost fits perfectly with the landscape, I like it very much.
-
I like the CD very much..but LOVE the Uboat
-
Incredible shot. Doesn't even matter were it is excatly, but all it's missing is a drive way (and a road preferably a winding one that leads back to civilization) Oh yeah and a nice trendy European car to drive on such road.

My prayers go out to the families of those involved. All those kids both the attacker(s) and the victims belong to us, it is the world we built that has shaped them into whom they are today, and likewise they will be responsible for the tragedies their kids bring upon themselves. It's a sad world we live in, but we strive to find happnies in every second of this life, otherwise why keep on living. May they RIP..(minus the shooter)
