Bah..leather SS band FTW! The SS band is awsome, adds to the weight and completes the package.
-
You know whats funny, seeing that I live in the same city were this famous TV show is made, plus I watch it when ever time permist I have noticed his watch several times and wondred is it? ..could it be..?..nah ..But damn So it is a Super Avenger..Excellent..Time to go check the SEARCH function
-
Well since i missed wearing green on St.Paddy's weekand I made up for it this morning
-
uhuh so there is even a 21j version out there? Ok that just makes things more difficult...maybe iwill just wait and see if they do rep the new SMP with red lettering.
-
Maybe all the complaining from the memebrs regarding shipping methods and then having those same people give out soo many details regarding dealer, country of origin, final destination and time frames has brought a degree of caution from our dealers. Not to mention what has already been mentioned we all know how to reach the current dealers even those who do not have their own sites, so having a dealer post new products or offers here and then on their own sites as wel..is twice the work. The only logical reason for a dealer with a site to post a watch here, IMO is if there is some sort of special deal for RWG members or some special sale that we may want to take advanatage of. But i'm a noob what do I know
-
Wow great responses guys, thank you...But heres an idea that i'm sure others have had before adn maybe even attempted this... How about getting this 007 rep that has correct He placement, and switching out dial bezel insert for regular SMP ? will that work? And i thought only the crono SMP had the screws instead of pins, wich is incorrect?
-
Theyre inexpensive allright, but the catch is in the shipping...USD $22.00+ 2.50 insurance(mandatory) Still not a bad price I guess, but he knwos what hes doing.
-
Well I can't give you the mechanical opinion regarding the 21j movement, but as far as looks go, i like the simplicity of your first choice geneally the VC's are very classy IMO and not flashy, not to mention they are moslty under the 40mm mark so they hide away nicely under a long sleeve.
-
Very nice, I'm not a big fan of straps regardless of material but this design on your looks excelent specially since it matches the dial so well. Much props to you
-
How far off would you pro's consider the He valave to be compared to Gen? Is it really that bad? Considering i read here in many places adn in reviews the current SMP "Bond" rep is very popular. or it that most poeple don't mind the flaw?

Just Wondering What A Pvd In The Omega Po Would Look Like
Rxus replied to rbj69's topic in The Omega Area
That PVD SMP black dial looks awsome...Stealth for sure. Who needs a J12 when you got one of those.... -
Then it shouldn't be too difficult..heck maybe an individual can source the parts on their own..well the dial at least. The He valve would defintely be up to the dealers to request the correction if in fact these rumors you speak of are true..muhaha PS. Also more defined dial (wave pattern) than the current one.

The market is big, or at least big enough to provide a form of living for some people, and somebody has to be purchasing these things and they need to move at a reasonable pace otherwise good bussiness can become bad bussiness rather quickly, regardless of that the market is global thanks to the internet I don't think any particular side of the planet is responsible, it's everyones market. just look at this board wich only represents a small portion of the market, yet it's members count for soo many different parts of the world i actually think it's a great representation of "were the high end market IS" it's all of us requesting more quality more service easier safer purchasing options.

My good friend for those short sleeve days
-
I was curious to know if anyone knows about the new bond SMP, I love the current style but the red letters really make the watch stand out. I got a good glimpse at an AD this past weekand, but it would have set me back a bit over 2k USD...Wich i'd rather spend elsewere..
-
Good question, I'll have to check that...But Ive been wearing my Steelfish non-stop and thast what like 42ish mm? So shouldn't be that bad
-
Of course AR is soemthing some people can live without (myself included) Sure any breitling owner will spot it as a fake, but i'm certain some Gen breitling owners don't even know what AR is. Heck in my corner of the world some jewlers wouldn't know what AR is...Sad but true
-
I'm glad the issue was resolved, and the pics look great. Still thinking it's too big for me, but maybe thast the reason why I like it soo much.
-
Yes I made a purchase from Josh this month using a one time CC number from Bank of America very simple indeed. And like someone mentioned already I just wish other dealers offered this payment service, it's #1 IMO,even better than PP when that was working.
-
Doesn't his original post say something not having papers for it? If so that seems shady as hell even if it is gen, it coulsd easily be stolen.
-
I have one of Josh's Lite versions, it's great received it this monday and ive gotten soo many compliments, I got 3 friends offering to buy it from me...DOn't know if I should send them to the website..I would feel responsible if they were to become addicted like me. But yes the watch is gorgeous, very simple but amazing. And the asian movement is running smooth as silk no AR but I can live with that.
-
Eh the black SMP isn't my cup of tea, and a PO only the 42.5 mm the 45 although a very ncie watch it is also very big
-
Ok I wear a lot of black cars black wear black sunglasses I think it's very clean low-key and fits my personality well. So I need a fitting black dial watch. Nothing flashy doesn't even have to have cronos but i don't mind them at all. strap can be SS or leather no difference to me.Has to work with long sleeves some times, so please no 49mm watches lets keep it under 44mm Here are some of the ones i can think of...that i sorta like Tag link crono black (polished dial) Pam (don't know pams by numbers like you guys, sorry) Submariner Santos ... I guess thats it. Your ideas will be of much help..looking for a decent quality rep, with good movement, asian is acceptable not just eta. Thanks in advance Rxus

Ive tried on a few big watches at local stores and although my wrist isn't small, I can tell you it's more about "how" you wear it, your confidence with it on, basically it's a state of mind... Eventually if you can accept a big watch in no time youll be sporting around a 49mm Bentley
