  1. I have to disappoint you, it's the angle DWO perfectly centered. I will upload a picture later.
  2. Are you looking for a 16610 or 116610 with ceramic insert?
  3. Gen insert already installed..just need to source a gen crystal
  4. Thank's for spotting them. Only thing we can report them but as long as ebay is not prosecuting such counterfeit sellers more strictly they will pop up as new users as soon as they had to close down
  5. True that. Maybe you get lucky over at TRF or here in the trading zone
  6. Sounds like hard work but at least it seems to make fun So good luck with it and hope you can afford a new rep soon
  7. Clark's bezel assembly for the 1675 must be very good as well as ingod dial sounds like an interesting project
  8. Sounds nice Partying and having time with friends and family is definitely more important than watches and spending time on the computer. Nevertheless, it's a great forum and a place where a lot of fine and helpful people meet and exchange stuff So you need to get one or two super reps before you go back partying I guess a lot has changed in this two years
  9. Good to hear. How long have you been away?
  10. Definitely not but welcome back Do you still have your collection or you start from scratch
  11. Looks awesome! Great first purchase mate
  12. shipping watches is such a hit or miss game. For Europe triangle shipping is bomb proof thanks to Schengen Dublin. Shipping gens trying to avoid duties is a whole other story. I guess best to send a gen is as panerai153 described it and put "return & repair of a precision instrument" on the package Hope it turns out fine for you without paying duties of higher value than your actual watch
  13. Glad that your tc has arrived love the gen but the difference is really subtle. In my eyes only the steel differs but only recognizable if you have them next to eaxh other
  14. Welcome to the forum Paul First of all good decision choosing a v6! Compared with my gen differences are minor. Cg's (crown guards) differ from every version a little bit but they are correct for y-series if I remember correctly. Weight compared to gen is almost corect. Stainless steel used for reps will unfortunately never compete with 904L steel which rolex uses. If you have them side by side and in your hands there is a small difference but not noticable on the wrist. For me I chose to put in a gen insert which is easy to change. Probably I will search a gen crsytal since this makes quite a difference. Easy to change with the right tools. Since they are pretty expensive I won't change it unless I get a good offer because TC crystal is good enough You will be amazed of the quality you will get and it's definitely worth every penny!
  15. I just got this nice gen rolex 16610 z-series and I want to get the opinion of you experts, whether this insert is correct for the z-series or not. Thanks in advance and cheers
  16. What a watch and what a combination you got there! It looks stunning. I always thought I am not interested in black watches but this looks awesome!
  17. That's great to hear that you found a repfriendly watchsmith
