The Zigmeister, did you see Chris's (Eurotimes) post about the big gear? The rep eta is polished and gen brushed. I checked all mine and the big gear is brushed. Mine are all well over 2 years old. Curious to know your thoughts on that. After reading this, I am sure they will brush them now tho.

The MWB 1680 case actually has 5513 specifications. The 1680 has a larger dial diameter. So

The slate dial has black rehaut in genuine and if you like the slate dial, why not spend the $30 to make it look more like the gen? It cost less to do this mod than it does for AR or a relume. So it's a bargain in comparison and one step closer to the genuine.

There is so much that is catching up with us just now. Bush may be a 1st class dink, but he is not 100% at fault for this. This was done a decade ago and it is just now catching up to us. IMO, Free trade has more to do with the weak dollar than anything. Would be hard for me to do that, but there are some sweet vintage daytons reps that have done this mod. Maybe put the Asian movement into the genuine case and have another franken. edit to add I must have been sharing Taka's brain.
