Wow, getting towards one for each day of the year! I thought I was going well at around 50 watches. I do like your taste though, I have some which are the same. Keep going......
The selection is subjective- and in the TD’s case, it’s what they have available. Yes, I’m sure they may lose a little business but they also have to balance out replies to people who they think won’t buy!
Well done so far on your guide. Bare in mind what has been said already by some experienced members. As to what is ‘best’; it’s working out which flaws you can live with. Some people will want the case construction to be as per the gen so they can swap out for gen parts. Others will want a fully functioning chronograph and won’t care about sub dial spacing. In essence it’s a case of you, the buyer researching what you want and what is acceptable to you. Don’t be put off by TD’s that don’t respond to dozens of questions- they all have lots of potential customers asking lots of questions and they have to manage it the best they can. Good luck with your purchase.
Haha, great story. I have finally found the ‘right’ size for me 40-42mm. So I know what you mean by too big/small. Did you secure another, or are you going to?
Psssst (there’s one on eBay at the moment).
