Ask the TDs if they can help. Maybe send a photo of what you’re looking for.
  2. I’d find a local watchsmith. @Legend, any ideas?

    WTF

Yes, I know what you mean. I prefer a daily BJ and occasional shower - I remember when I was a kid and bath time was once a week - in a tin bath, in the kitchen!
  4. So the Cola-mariner rep was based on a real Rolex!
  5. Yes they can do the test in-store. They didn’t charge me as the machine wasn’t capable of reaching the 300m required by my watch. Sorry I didn’t ask the price b

    WTF

OK, so a friend sends me an eBay link. I click and like WTF! http://vi.raptor.ebaydesc.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemDescV4&item=401319221059&category=176998&pm=1&ds=0&t=1509423057000&ver=0&cspheader=1 ...... how many should I buy? ...... as gifts for the RWG admin team? 🤣
  7. Whilst I’m more of an Omega kinda guy, I do like a nice Breitling or two (or seven at the moment even lol).
  8. I think that it was more than just the trade agreement. There are massive cultural differences between the nations that will/are causing problems. The massive immigration in Germany has already caused problems. People like to have an identity - mine is Cornish/English/British. Whilst I’m a European, I don’t think of it as an identity. Anyway, there’s fog in the channel; Europe is isolated. 🤣
  9. I’d ask for an update. Give Josh a few days and if no reply contact a mod here.
  10. Kicking off the thread with a yellow SOA on a gen Pro II bracelet.
  11. Who has the best banana? Why Europeans of course - the (crazy) EU (over)regulations stipulate what shape a banana can be - if it does not have enough bend in it then it should be rejected and sold as a ‘second’! There are plenty of crazy rules here - set by non elected EU ministers. We have given enough and the British have elected to leave the union. The problem is that there are rich and poor countries within the EU - or as Mike said; the haves and have nots. I work hard to earn a little money here in the U.K. whilst EU citizens can work here for 180 days and then go home to Poland, Romania, Bulgaria etc taking all their earnings (ie without paying income tax) and enjoy a life costing a quarter of what it costs to live in the U.K. This is sad but true - I work with them for 3-4 months of the year. I don’t begrudge them as they are working to the rules set by Brussels! I’d do the same if I were in their shoes.
  12. The more basic the design the better chance you have of sealing it successfully. Generally, I'd not bother with chronographs - although one of my Seamaster chrono reps was successfully tested to the maximum capability of Timpsons test equipment (can't remember but 100m or maybe even 200m).
  13. Congratulations. It depends on how Andrew ships it but generally a couple of weeks, although I have known it to be less than a week. Just sit back and enjoy the weather(!) and relax. Don't keep checking the tracking as it will seem like forever.
  14. What a load of bollocks. Now, who has the best sub. Hmmmm ..... don’t tell me the ‘mericans!!! BTW I voted for Brexit
  15. Cousins UK I believe can get the parts. @SSTEEL did my Seamasters with the same problem.
  16. lol, I have done this with one watch set to local time and one set to home time. A few beers later I forgot which watch had home time and rang the wife at 3:00am....... drunk..... Thankfully, I bought a gmt shortly afterwards.
  17. Yeah, but only the brave/foolhardy need apply 🤪
