  1. Hi, the link You posted is from Andrew, fine to go with. Like the design of that Transocean but don´t know how good it is, the one people are buying is this one: http://www.torobravos2014.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=25_42&product_id=766 maybe You want to read about, it´s expensive. 2 of my very best overall watches are the Breitling Superocean Steelfish and the Abyss 42mm, truly impressed by both and each was just above 200 usd and superlumed (no chronos, are divers).
  2. Hi and welcome to he forum. For making a first order and trying it out it´s a very sensible choice in my opinion. And the simpler the design the better it is replicated, same goes for the ultra-expensive ones. These hands on the IWC´s catch the light from so many angles it sure will be fun and well readable. Also a very good test if gold watches are for You generally because they sure look good. Something to consider is to get the cheap "watch repair tool kit" from Amazon (15 to 20 usd) and to get another strap for this one, maybe alligator grain in black, it will make a big difference. It´s fun to choose here: http://www.strappedfortime.com/shop/category.aspx/alligator-crocodile-grain-watch-bands/7/ or here http://www.watch-band-center.com/shop2/index.php?user=watchstrap&so=&offset=30&hkat=1011&skat=1014
  3. Hi Keys, welcome to rwg. Glad You could sort out some watch-trouble over here already. See You around
  4. Hi and welcome to RWG. You already have 3 1/4 posts over there?!? lol - have fun around
  5. Update - wristshot: This took much longer than thought for all that ice to melt lol... This Abyss 42mm feels great on the wrist, glad to have it and good with the neutral colours:)
  6. Hi, if You like the big sized Explorer II try to grab a white or black one now that it is available from several TD. People have been waiting for months, if You wait until pics are posted they may have sold out again. Myself I still prefer the 16570 classic Explorer II Polar but someday will pick up a black Explorer II as well.
  7. It´s definitely Mother´s Day in the UK. Over here I´m waiting for May...
  8. Hi and welcome. You´ve done some research already so here it goes: they are from different factories and they are both fantastic watches on the wrist. To cut a long story short the second more expensive is the better choice, the movement with the 3 screws on the backside just looks nicer and is better, it´s also only 10 mm thin which makes it the more fantastic and gen-like. There are not many slim watches available so that´s the one to get and it´s well worth the price difference.
  9. Hi and welcome to the forum. Nice reviews and pictures here, maybe You want to search for the Chanel J12
  10. Hi and welcome to RWG. You will get a watch and may start a list of what to get next.. Tudor Black Bay, Breitling Abyss or Superocean.....
  11. Hi - it says "H-factory best". It´s a question of searching which maker is better for this model, think it´s noob but You´ll have to look up a comparison what the differences are. Good luck. this is the other: http://www.torobravos2014.com/index.php?route=product/product&keyword=Pam+111&product_id=792
  12. The Spitfire Chrono was recently available from Supermirrors and Toro, this one, would really like to see a review and some pics if You get one...
  13. Safest is one on the wrist. If You want a bit riskier another couple in the travel bag. No Rolex. Others I would simply post them depending on country of origin.
  14. Hi, did You buy them with the Asian 21j? These make some noise and the rotor spins a lot, You get used to it, it´s normal. With the Asian ETA the noise is much less and different.
  15. Hi and welcome to rwg. Lots of information around, You´ll be busy reading for sometime:)
  16. A well-machined precision clockwork from a traditional swiss watchmaker. Looks quality all around.
  17. By chance just had a look some 5 min ago and instantly loved the look of the yellow one. Never had seen those so thx for posting, those are brandnew as it seems. Might really be attracted to one:)
  18. Hi and welcome to the forum. With reps sometime "You have to go with the crowd", this means choosing from the best models available or the best made models because these are really good looking. This is different from buying "exactly the watch You want" which may be not so good or not existant. There is a brand-new release for the Aquaterra with the nice Myota-movement, its a 12mm thin 42mm don´t know if You´ve seen it: http://puretime-asia.com/product/aqua-terra-15000-gauss-anti-magnetic-ss-11-best-edition-on-ss-bracelet-a8500/ If You want a day-date maybe You need to go for another Omega model there was a very nice 2008 edition of the blue Seamaster-Chrono, quality-wise I think the new Myota will be better. Good luck choosing
  19. Hi and welcome to RWG. Many interesting pictures and reviews to find here.
  20. This is one I´ve been looking forward and hopefully both releases are really top-reps for 2014. Waiting for the first pics and reviews on the Bronzo.
  21. Hi and welcome to posting. Very nice first post. You will be amazed by the looks and touch and hopefully You´ll get a technically perfect sample. Just love these cg-levers and the soothing second hand on the clean dial.
  22. Thx for posting and sharing. This was very interesting to see. Very close indeed.
