  1. The 369 is from HR, The blue bracelet is from a market in France but can found on the bay :-)
  2. Took the family on holiday.... I think they are enjoying it as much as I am :-)
  3. This is stunning, I would lone one of these dials, if only someone reliable sold them. Is there any other close equivalent?
  4. Ok im convinced ! What parts do I need and from who to create the best MC ? All I know about is yuki dial hands and case but there must be better options out there?
  5. Holy crap. This deserves a huge round of applause !
  6. The 1966 with the 1954
  7. That looks great. There a time when I felt the same, you will soon be fully cured :-)
  8. OMFG Quite some build. Respect goes out for that one !
  9. Its no wonder if that is the person in your sig who sold it to you, I think anyone would have been distracted
  10. but this really for you right?
  11. LOL what a bad watch but hey this is how we all start and they are PERFECT for starting out, learning how to pull it apart and put it back together etc. these types of watches have been a right of passage for most of us. So I say well done for giving it a go. Your next challenge is to change that dial... nothing expensive (leave that for a later build) just to gain the experience, believe me you won't regret it. Good luck
  12. Very nice. Can you give more details on the hour and second hands, where they came from/how you made them please.
  13. Very nice
  14. So many things are off... Crown, Crown guard, fonts on the face, font on the date, bezel not sharp and insert doesn't fit and to me the hour hand looks wrong maybe too small. As was said in the first response a pretty bad fake. The first thing to do is go online look for pics of the same model and put the pics side by side on your screen. Study for 10 mins. If you do this enough soon you won't need the gen pics anymore.
  15. Too much damn text !!! 124 characters on a watch face... stupid !
  16. Very suspect, movemnt gen, bacelet probably, but there is a small chance the mid case is genuine and maybe the crown? Certainly some parts are aftermarket and some are gen.
  17. We haven't really proven that, they are assumptions I made over on HF on my build log. The lollipop seconds hand does not seem to be supplied by others other than those for gen movements, in which case onlinestorehk seems to be the only choice for eta movements. If you check out my build log you will see why the minute and hours hands from the lollipop set do not match the era of the lollipop second hand at all. I concluded (from photo evidence alone) that the HR hand set had a better minute hand but the hour hand remained wrong for a vintage build, let alone the long minute hand. I am going to buy both the hr hand set and the wholesaleoutlet hand sets to try to compile what we don't seem able to get from a single budget supplier. It's on going so check out my build log for updates. http://www.homageforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=28343
  18. Ooo very nice, What are the details? Is that a 5513? It looks well worn.
  19. Or sell it me for a very very very good price :-D
  20. Very nice. What's the order of most worn to least worn?
  21. Can I ask what the cost is?
  22. I can already say, they are not. Even before it arrives ! :-) But its a temp for a cheap build anyway so it is just to look "ok". It will also be the wrong weight, however, total cost a bit under 50 USD I think. Not in anyway a "solution" or substitute for hollow folded gen or "yuki".
  23. But out of sll this we do not seem to have found someone who has actually bought from NDT recently They are in stock there, stretch and non stretch.
