  3. Yes well they seem to think that taking out the last 2 disc's in my back and replacing them with springs is what I need. Although they keep deferring surgery to see if it will mend by itself. Ken

  8. One other thing alternative hot and cold showers will reduce the pain. Ken
  9. David you don't have a pinched nerve you have a ruptured disc and yeah I can vouch for you...............it does bloody hurt. One thing my friend rest do what your body tells you if it gets too bad go to the quacks for pain killers and last maybe just maybe a physio might be able to help. Ken

  12. Hi everyone, For anyone contemplating using the Sensis directory service number, 1234, DON'T! Sensis, as you may or may not know, is a subsidiary of Telstra. The 1234 number is replacing the Telstra 12456 directory assistance number, but this time with outrageous costs attached: 40c to call the number, then 4c A SECOND! By law, Telstra have to provide a FREE directory assistance number, because they are still majority owned by the government. They choose however not to pass this number on to the public. What's the number?............ 1223 Thumbs up to Telstra for finding a way to charge for a service that is supposed to be provided for free. Ken
