i am so glad i found this place!! if you just search the net for Swiss reps they are $600-$1000 on avg. I remember once buying a SWISS eta sub for $800 years and years ago Now i can get them for under $200!! wow! Now i can buy 4x as many watches! LOL LOL LOL

I'd say my most comon routine would be: Daily beater: Swiss SS Submariner gen insert and well worn look Dress watch: Swiss SS (white gold) day-date, black diamond dial and bezel Smart casual: Asian 7750 Breitling Bentley T chronograph black dial Sporty watch: Now DEAD asian sec@6 Daytona black dial (Lasted a week, waste of money) Vintage watch: Early 80's Tudor Submariner (rep bracelet) or gen SS Rolex datejust model 1603

ok well after sanding the back of the case with a scouring pad, it seemed to remove a coating of some sort.. now i dont get a rash!! whatever was on the back of that case was causing the skin reaction. So there you go. If you cant wear your breitling rep then try what i did and maybe it will work for you. Im just happy i can wear my new watch for more than 2 hours at a time LOL YAY!

whats with this new sec@3 asian 7750 movement in the Bentley 6.75 rep? is this going to be a disaster like the Daytonas sec@6? Check it out on Trustys site hhmmmm

HAHAH yeah its a big watch after polishing the case back, i have been wearing the watch non stop since last night and no rash at all.. hmm.. maybe it was a coating on the case back after all... before this i would get red spots on my skin after only a few hours.. Lonnie

engraved crown on crystal is visible to the naken eye on my gen ss submariner. barely visible but with the right light and the right angle you can see it.

yep auction was ended early item no longer for sale. seems like a trust worthy guy but doesnt look like a gen brancelet to me either. it would be next to impossible for the avg person to tell rep or gen on a bracelet these days.

Its from someone who trades here and its got the asian 7750 but i dont want to say yet until i see if its a simple fix. I dont want to bad mouth anyone if you know what i mean

You are absolutely correct! i was thinking of the exact same mod just a little while ago. I tried to remove the screws but both ends turn and as Usil says, it seems like a pin made to look like a screw. Anyone have a gen they can try this with? I would love to see pics of anyone that has made this hybrid bracelet. I think it would look amazing with a good thick aligator strap! Lonnie

stupid skin!! haha ive got a new asian bentley T chrono (well built rep) and the case back with the 3 engraved cars gives me a terrible rash after a few hours. i first suspected the case back wasnt stainless steel at all becasue it just didnt look right. The brushed part was "too good" and looked like acid etched glass almost. I took the case back off to try a diff breitling caseback i had but the thread size is not the same. When the back was off i started to brush the high polished and engraved metal and found that there was almost a thin paint like finish on it that was replicating the glass etched look of the stainless steel around the high polish little raised cars... now the back is clean and all the same texture,. i will reinstall the case back and try wearing the watch and see if i still get a rash. All in all, this isnt very exciting but if this fixes my problem, it may help another forum member with a similar watch now that the case back is on the watch again.. it almost looks like aluminum compared to the bushed stainless on the watch. I wonder how hypo-alergenic aluminum is? LOL will keep thou posted

the sec @ 6 daytona rep is a piece of SH*T. i knew it and i still ordered one anyways haha. mine lasted 2 weeks. Why do they even build this thing?... now i will see if my rep dealer will honor his warranty...

Even the gen bracelet and especially the clasp is crappy and cheap feeling haha. They need to make a newer daytona style clasp or something that looks and feels more solid.

i dont have a scale but i think there is a big difference between the old solid link and the new hollow link oyster bracelets. the solid link is noticably heavier in the hand. i personally hate the new hollow links. why make it lighter? You ever pick up a breitling bentley? its like 2 lbs hahaha

I think your seeing the shadow off the marker from he above light source and its making the 3 o'clock marker look closer... I think this watch is a gen. opening it up would end this discussion quickly
