A TD over Rwg.bz showed us these new reps.
I would say very interesting and in pair with gen
I may get one of these, they are so different that I like them, and more than the sevenfriday ones. Powered by gen Miyota 21.6kBPH
Noob 127 not available anymore but the new kw (or H factory?) one is great. And costs a fortune... Like 430$.
Look through new arrivals at Angus site and you will find it.
On the cheaper side the ones from h factory on sale (see both Toro and Supermirrors) are absolutely great for the money.
Sadly we were chatting few weeks ago about the fact that lately the mostly followed discussions over here were about cars and members that passed away
Really a bad news guys
Check for WU fees where you live: in Italy with WU online (bank transfer to cash) I pay 4.9€ only and I have in reverse 10% discount on everything (special offers and shipment too) from Toro
My suggestion is to stick with smaller dealers (like Torobravo or Supermirrors) until you will feel confifent and ask for a watch availability BEFORE to send the money
Yes, please.
A question about the plate: has it been done by you? I love it... How did you made the "pig" (the guided torpedo)?
Thanks, Alex
PS: I'm loving also your distressed Tudor BB strap you did for me few months ago, but is there any way I could use to take away the smell of "old/moldy leather" from it without hurting it too much?
Great looking watch!
2 days ago I sent a mail to Francis asking if one of these is still available... You can even choose between 200m=660ft and with Mark I or II dials.
I hope to get one too, because I love them...
Man, I have to compliments you about your patience.
Nearly always, when a noob comes and post questions like these you replies with respectful and informative answer.
Not something common.
So please take my esteem!
Personally I have 2 or 3 preferred ones. I tried many but now, with so high dollar change rate, I stick to good offers/promotions or to wholesale option.
Hi All,
my HBB doesn't autowind and looking in the autowind plate hole where the reverse wheel click is visible, I could see that the problem is in the reversing wheel where the lower gear doesn't "grip" with the upper gear driven by the rotor.
Basically this is the problem:
I have 2 questions about this problem:
1) will the ETA gen spare part fit this (recent 28.8kBPH) asian 7750?
2) I remember that once I have already dealt with a similar problem on a 3/6/9 and I ended up having the chrono minute hand not resetting correctly anymore... Is there a way to avoid this? Maybe putting some rodico on the dial to block the hand? I am a bit scared to remove the minute subdial hand because I've already had a case of glued hands on a similar configuration watch...
Thanks, GenTLe
