  1. No way for me It's how to kill an elegant watch... Ah, and the reps of them are in the 340-440$ range. :rotfl:
  2. Doing Ezio's homeworks: Silver sticks dial (Presidential Rolesor): http://www.trusty-watch.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_12&products_id=1495 White sticks dial (Presidential Rolesor): http://www.trusty-watch.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_12&products_id=1562 http://www.trusty-watch.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_12&products_id=446 Arabic number white (Presidential Rolesor): http://www.trusty-watch.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_12&products_id=1498 White sticks dial (Jubilee): http://www.trusty-watch.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_12&products_id=447 Roman numbers white (Jubilee): http://www.trusty-watch.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_12&products_id=2463 Arabic numbers white (Jubilee): http://www.trusty-watch.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_12&products_id=2572 Gold sticks dial (Jubilee): http://www.trusty-watch.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_12&products_id=443 Now lift your fat a_s and buy this watch to my future wife :-PP
  3. Why there are TDs areas, like Watchstation, which are completely empty? And why can't we get some other TDs that have been proved good on the cousin's forums like Asian7750 (Tony, that sometimes has GREAT crazy sales, last ones Noob PVD Ferrari Panerai 38 chrono a7750 @149$ instead of 348%; EBEL 1911 chrono a7750 @119$ - instead of 268$; Omega PO @119$ with aETA instead of 248$) or FatPanda which looks the best in terms of QC controls? Not whining, just proposing "new blood" and a bit of housekeeping. Cheers, GenTLe
  4. Does Rolex really did Daydates similar to this things? And i'm referring also to those unelegant big numbers (even if not blingy)
  5. Today, instead of the usual wrist pic, I'd like to show how the watch tools can be organized (at least little stuff). I was bored of mess with my tools (And yes, my OCD has begun long time ago with tools )
  6. This eve a Tag Cal.1 (1st time I'm wearing it, got it from M2M 3 weeks ago) lost the spring bar and fell on the street... Luckily the scratch could have been fixed with patience, a bit of 1500 sand paper and some professional fine graned polish on the dremel cotton bit... I'm so lucky that if I dive into Lourdes pool, I'll crack my self because I'll find it empty...
  7. What about this, if available? http://www.trusty-watch.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_12&products_id=432
  8. Smashed, fixed badly due to inexperience (I managed to broke the crown), re-bought, re-damaged again and this time fixed properly (and serviced)
  9. Currently this one. I really love it, and the PVD is really strong (believe me!):
  10. Ezio, what about this female version? It's very nice (and that dealer is actually considered the very best one over RWG.bz): http://watchfinder.phanfare.com/6655697#imageID=222797450
  11. Haha? Cold blood you have... In such a situation here a compilation of kicks in the ass would have started (and not yet finished)
  12. And I can confirm it works (I confirm also that it's not easy to create that shape in a ehm piece of soft wood...)
  13. One dip should simply be Trichloroethylene Just sold at an extremely high cost...
  14. 400$ for a 21j??? [censored] them... Defo too much.
  15. Hey, sorry mate. I almost gave up too in that sense. At least for anything deeper than a night of fun (which by the way at 39yo aren't no more frequent). I'm bitter enough so that I've just arrived to the conclusion that they are not worth of the effort. At least unless I'll find a nice lady that can make me change my mind Back to your topic... It will be difficult (I hope for you!) to find a watch big enough so that it will be able to accept your stem [emoji12] [emoji12]
  16. Once. I was in a bar where I go sometimes, and the owner, who had seen me with many different ones, told me " you know... In case you want to sell one... Let me wear it for some evenings and surely someone will want it". Now, you need to know that I'm really gelous of my tools and stuff. Rarely I accept to borrow even normal hex keys to others unless I really trust them (because my experience told me that too often they disappear or come back damaged). Moreover this guy isn't a proper trusted one, for what I have heard about him. So I opened chrono24 on my phone and showed him the valuation of the gen version of piece I had on my wrist (a super rep Hublot v6.5 Rose gold ceramic bezel, fibre dial), telling him "now you know why I don't permit anyone to wear my watches ". Funnily the rest of the eve he treated me like a kind of superhero [emoji12] [emoji3]
  17. Well... I'd not call it a difficult fix. I mean that I consider difficult fix things like a damaged hairspring, a missing jewel, a broken wheel (if no spara parts are available). This one was simply in need of a service. Time consuming maybe, but for a person like you surely nothing difficult PS: for the other readers: no, I'm not the seller
  18. There is one that offered his service here. He's in UK. You need to search him here
  19. Thanks Tim. About the oilers, which is the better shape in order to avoid the "oil on the side" problem?
  20. Not painted, it's gold plated. This one doesn't appear "metallic" in the gen too, so it's ok. Here a couple of pics of mine (with gen alligator aftermarket strap): If you buy it, be sure to check the case back screw when it will arrive, the previous owner missed one, and when I put the replacement screw and I checked the others, they were all more or less not properly tightened
  21. I got recently this from M2M and I'm very happy with it. Only part I had to fix with a bit of grain 1000 sandpaper was the buckle that was a bit sharp on the 2 angles that touch the skin. http://intime.co/product.php?id_product=919
  22. Money sent! :ppp (mate, what is the tank, 80 liters? With 15 refuelling (8000km) I'm done with my salary... Then I've to change the tyres... No way!)
  23. Some reps are not just "pretty decent" but really superb. Look at the Blancpain FF (black dial one) or at Noob Omega planet ocean liquid metal (closed caseback), they are simply GREAT. And a proper service with waterproofing is around 150€. Gens are like luxury cars: go to a Lambo dealer and make them to change oil, filters and do the common checks, you'll get scared. Why o why can't I buy a Lambo rep? I'm fine with 400HPs instead of 600...
