Maybe Mark's version of the HBB black magic with AR & Ceramic bezel will be next on Silix (jay's) website... That would be great!

I have degrees in French Linguistics and International Relations. I'm studying for the United States Foreign Service Officer Exam. For the last 2.5 years I've been working as an English and French professor/translator here in Madrid, Spain and before in Perugia, Italy. I also work (on the side) as a tour manager coordinating groups of American High School kids coming over to europe for 1-2week educational tours. (Basically they pay me to travel around europe with groups of americans). Not a hot-shot like most of you.. but i'm on my way :-)

Yes it is the same watch.. but i don't like that Mark has a picture of a S/S HBB as the main picture.. then below that he has the close-up pictures of a different watch! Can someone confirm that there are Black chrono-pushers available on the gen!???????

So Vric.. the watch is "all black"?? i thought the gen had stainless steel pushers and not pvd coated.....?

pvd coated caseback is more like gen.. but i think that the chrono pushers are wrong..... they should be stainless steel with rubber... not black pvd-coated

Check this out guys. From a seller named Torobravo.. On another forum i'm apart of (www.replik.as), the admin named Lacenta sells for this same watch even cheaper than this price (345euro!!), all the spaniards on www.replik.as seem to think very highly of Lacenta.. and ESPECIALLY his prices....... Anyone here have any direct experience with either of them? The watch looks to be great.. except that the chrono pushers are PVD coated black instead of the natural stainless steel color that I've always seen on the Black Magic.. Considering you didn't describe anything he was wearing besides it NOT being a suit.. i'm not sure if I'm able to make a correct assesment... so you're saying.. to wear a panerai you 've got to wear a suit and can't have a bag? I wear my panerai everywhere and it's plenty believable here in madrid even when i'm in my weekend clothes. (i'm 20 something years old also)...

my question is: Are brushed Ceramic bezels even available on any of our reps? It seems like all of the ceramic bezels I see around here are all Polished....

here's mine. Only take put it on when I dress up. It's weird how tastes change. When I first got into reps this is the watch that got me started.. Now it gets the least wrist time of all my reps. It's definitely a keeper though.. and ohh soo smooooth

way to be innovative dakku! Never thought about taking off the black paint in on the clasp. I kinda like the way it gives the watch some contrast... but maybe for the sake of rep-accuracy i'll remove it with some nail polish remover like you did yourself!

Don't know if you guys have seen "SUPER TROOPERS"... but it happens to be one of my favorite comedies. Towards the end of the movie Officer Foster (played by Paul Soter) is wearing a Bell & Ross Type Marine Black while waiting in the squad car for Ursula.
