The rehaut (rolexrolex engravings) should line up with the markers. The LEC (laser etched coronet) at 6 shouldn't be visible like that. The cyclop seems to not do anything The pearl on the bezel isn't centered and looks like a pimple. The dial is for a LV. a black bezel sub should have smaller markers. Spaces between oyster perpetual date is way too big. The words should be closer together. The crown guards are waaaay too fat. This is just from looking at the front of the watch. I'd hate to see how bad the second hand stutters. That evo gentle posted is niiiice! Always wanted one of those.

Def loctite the stem once you make sure it's the right length. It might take a couple of tries to get it perfect. Be very careful with the stem release button. Don't use a pointed object to push the button. You're likely to push it in too far. As suggested, use a flat head screwdriver and press down parallel to the movement and not at a pointy angle. If this is your first time, you may wanna practice on a cheapie if you have one. Removing the stem is tricky even for people who have done it before. As for putting the stem back in, I always insert while slowly turning and it locks in place. Good luck. I hope I don't see a how to fix keyless post from ya.

You can buy stems from oferi or cousins or ebay. If it's a tc, I believe it should accept eta stems.

Replace it with a new clone. It'll be cheaper than servicing that one IMO. You can buy clones off ebay for under $100. Service would run you anywhere from $100-$300 depending on the watchesmith and what parts need to be replaced. The plus side of this is, it will get replaced with eta parts and the movement will prob run better than it' ever did. Downside is it could get pricy. There's also the option of swapping with a gen eta. If you have the tools, do a swap yourself. Save some money. I don't know how to service a movement but if any of my clones ever died, I'd prob just do a swap. Gen eta, I would get serviced.

Hahaha. I know exactly what you mean. 3 months ago, I had 3 watches. Bought a 4th one and decided to get a nice 12 slot case. Now I feel like I have to fill it. Ok got my watch and my movement looks exactly like a 2813. Has the WO logo by the balance when and everything. It's def ticking at 28,8 though according to kello and the timeogrpaher QC pics. Def sounds like a high beat. So... If I have to replace this movement, it should be a direct swap with a 2813 right? I guess these are what they call the 4813? These fake high beats are the main reason why I didn't even bother ordering a clone. I'd rather order the cheapie and get the cheapie.

i think the same thing happened to my sub with a 2836 clone. i took the stem out to work on the CGs a little and i think the clutch lever got dis-engaged. i didnt have hand pullers at the time so i took it to a local watchsmith. he stuck the stem in, wiggled it around a little and jammed it in and it worked! i still have no idea how he did it. he said you just have to get the gears lined up and push with a little force. my keyless works wasnt completely dislodged so there was no need to get to the dial face of the movement. you could try that a few times and see if it works. if you plan on replacing the movement, may as well try to fix it. once you get the hands and dial off, its really not that hard to pop the little lever on the notch on the winding gear. ive done this a few times on 6497s. i think i could do it blindfolded on that movement not. lol or find a new watchsmith. that guy is a moron. i think Katt charges like $75 bucks or something to fix a keyless works. worth it on a $300 watch imo.

seems a lot of people are getting tricked in to these movements. if you ordered a high beat 2813 or whatever they call it, thats one thing but to pay for a ETA clone and get this.. id be [censored]. glad your TD is trying to sort things out. i do have a cartel 1680 coming with one of these "new breed high beat movements". so are they not interchangeable with a ETA clone? (hands, dial feet positions..etc) if i wanted to swap out to a ETA clone, would i have to cut the dial feet and get new hands?

the speedy moon watch with the display back and St19 movement is pretty solid. great looking watch. hand wind and about the only affordable column wheel chrono movement. i rarely wear mine but just cant decide if i wanna sell it. i get compliments on it every time i wear it though. then their jaws drop when i show them the back. its about one of the best out of the box movements in the rep world.

if you adjust for inflation though, the prices would prob be roughly the same as the pre ceramic models. i remember my dad getting a TT DJ for around 3k in the 90s i think the gold on that watch alone is prob worth half that now.

$150 for a full service isnt bad. what movement was it? 6497? the only local rep friendly guy i have charges quite a bit more to work on ETAs he typically works on high end watches but hell work on reps. he was pretty impressed with the 2836 clone i had him fix the keyless on.

it would drive me crazy so id open it up and clean it. thats just me though. opening it will prob ruin the waterproofness so if tht matters to you, dont mess with it. if its under warranty, send it to them to fix.

my clone has a little resistance when its wound but itll keep winding. def gets a little stiff. not sure what the problem could be honestly but if your watchsmith says everythings ok, then i wouldnt worry. just leave the crown screwed down as much as you can. i typically try to rotate my watches so none of them ever need to be reset. easy to do when i only have 4 Auto watches though.

Like others have said. Rice. If you can't find rice, raid the pantry for anything with a pack of those silicon gel things in it. Practically everything comes with a pack of those. Cut a few open, dump in to a small bowl. Put watch in with it and cover.

Clone movements seem to be a bit stiffer at the stem from my exp. it's a bit tougher to hand wind than eta. Not sure why you're is stopping. May be worth getting looked at or replacing

Isn't the gen just a bunch of quartz movements? I do believe thre is a rep of this sans bling. Why someone needs to know 5 time zones is beyond my understanding. Not my cup of tea I guess.
