  1. Spray brake cleaner and a can of duster simultaneously. If dust persists, hold the duster can upside down while spraying and use a lighter to ignite the stream. No dust guaranteed. Seriously, use the dust bulb or if something is stuck and stubborn I would recommend AF rub-off. Rodico leaves residue.
  2. I cant believe you guys are still playing this [censored]... Maybe I should post a new game? shell... case
  3. Great point Mike. This is where he needed to be. WUS did you a favor Miguel. You could be the resident G expert. RWG doesnt put walls up they knock em down. I bet Nanuq could use a Gshock. God knows those beat up old Rolex(s) can't survive many more of those Alaskan winters.
  4. +1 Perhaps you should message the WUS team and ask them to help. If everything is as you said, perhaps there was a mistake or a solitary moderator was on an ego trip. It happens on smaller forums and rep forums, imagine wielding the power over a bunch of WIS on WUS.
  5. Are you waiting on a TT PO chrono? Temwperature? My buddy just got his after 3 months wait... DOA. I've been working on it, swapped the bicompax bits over to a new 7750 only to have the hand posts not fit back on the movement. Thinnest, softest hands I've ever seen. If it is indeed that PO(s)... I'd cancel it if I were you. I'm waiting 2 weeks today on two for me, and i'm already over it. It's too long.. Wish there was some option besides "wait forever, maybe something comes". Especially at $30 for shipping. EMS express my @ss!
  6. G or me? I feel like im stealing noob thunder here... and it feels good. Always good to see you my Eskimo friend. /hijack
  7. Noobs Kidding of course and congrats to a fine member. Member, not appendage. Ugh.. this is why I don't post much.
  8. Ah. Yeah, the issue you have is because its a BP model. There's no easy solution. You cant buy noob crpo parts, thats out. No way to tell if gen parts will fit, if you can even find them or wish to pay that much. You could try buying a V6 factory insert but again, no guarantee it will fit. Another option would be to purchase the BP factory black ceramic bezel and swap that onto it.
  9. Different generation, wouldn't be a good fit. Not sure those PO specials are even available anymore. PM'd you, I have a brand new spare CRPO He valve.
  10. Human beings are truly strange. Twenty thousand dollars for a friggin 5 cent aluminum insert? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Very-very-rare-ALL-BLUE-1675-Navy-bezel-NOS-Blueberry-original-/262043833032?hash=item3d030792c8:g:AXsAAOSwHmhV8iXN
  11. Dont fall into the alcohol trap if you haven't already. AA, books, advice, none of it helped me- I just said enough and helped myself. Being/getting sober was the best decision I've ever made and it is not as hard as all of the info, support groups and "advice" make it sound. You aren't struggling alone, most people seem to be. I wish you all the best.
  12. Is Mary back in charge or Rochest still running things? Mary was always great to me. Glad to hear they are right side up and wish them a successful return.
  13. What size is the rep crown, does it match one of those? That tube looks like it will probably make a gen tube swap extra "fun" as usual on the Omegas... The Omega model number system is a nightmare. I always laugh when reading Omega forums and such, "hey check out my new 234223./13/235.23..2/23/2/5.52". Just imagine them saying that at a watch get together, must sound like a calculus club. Any other naming convention would be better. Its like trying to learn another language- Gibberish.
  14. should be a good movement once serviced. Looks like the fixed the misspelling of "positions" now also.. it's a T not an I. Nice watch, you will enjoy it.
  15. honestly that looks pretty damn good all things considered. It's really the easiest, attainable solution anyone can do and afford. I have a decent PPM that I use but I think I will pick up one of those sharpies to see what it's like in person. I always wondered how they would do, thanks for sharing.
  16. Looks beautiful, Mike. I will need to see what it looks like in my box, i'll PM my addr...
  17. In recently repairing and servicing the new 3132 I can confirm that gen minute wheel fits the 3132. Part number 260. Expensive part but cheaper then losing the entire movement to the SA31XX "no parts available" problem. I noticed a lot of improvements and wondered what the deal was. Glad info is finally coming out. notice missing teeth in the rep gear.
