  1. I'm trying to find the "OMEGA" applied silver wording that go's under the omega symbol to repair a dial. Interested in any/all options. Can anyone help me out? Spare dial, emblem, ideas appreciated. This is what I need circled in red:
  2. +1!!!!! To everything you said. Why only the HUGE watches, I can't wear those. At the very least, take the tooling out and make another run of the old SOH, Abyss & Abyss chrono, and SOSF without the new breed time bomb. And while we're at it, tool up those Abyss ProII bracelets, not the junk clasp crap out right now.. Those Abyss bracelets were incredible!! +1!!
  3. wow, that's beautiful. AP would probably pay a pretty penny for that! God knows they have the cash..
  4. They look great. That said... The strap market is saturated. China and Vietnam are pumping out $80-$150 straps and selling them for $40 shipped. You have a better chance of gaining a foothold if you hand stitched them. Price is the deciding factor not only for the buyers but the maker. One day you wake up and realize what you're doing is arguably slave labor. just .2c from someone that went through it..
  5. Wait so you want to PP me $100 for the inconvenience? That is EXCELLENT service. Heels?! It's only Wednesday and it's only 3PM... Give me a little cred. Although I'm already drinking, so...
  6. It is now, and excellent choice if I do say..
  7. I only looked at the first pic, but it's probably just keyless. I PM'd you.
  8. Yep. Swatch group made a huge mistake and I'm glad to see other companies rocketing off of it. I never new it before, but I guess I am now a fan of Fossil! Well done! Remember when swatch group initially announced the movement freeze and sold it to everyone as if they were trying to see other watch companies spread their wings and fly on their own? Was anyone convinced or was it obvious swatch wanted to either purchase or destroy any brand not nestled under their wing? Fly... More like fall from the nest and get eaten by a cat. They cut off ETA movements as-if they are some sort of advanced new-age technology. It was a good scare, but ultimately they cut off their nose to spite their face. Patents.. [censored]! You want to save money and take major portions of Swiss production to China? Expect China to produce Swiss parts above and beyond those called for by the original manufacturer. You want to cut off supply on out of patent products? Expect someone to come along and supply the demand. Instead of buying or killing their competition as planned, they empowered them. PS: To the OP, the movements would be good, but the price seems a little high to be excited over.
  9. Woh did I start the longest running thread on RWG?! Whats my prize? Nevermind... I'm sure I don't want to know. oh and.. Shovel
  10. It's a 7750 sans oscillating weight. Most likely you can see the little arm attached to the pusher which allows it to seem offset. Notice the way the case is a little different shape for each pusher?
  11. if the watch was working and you had a good rubber strap would you be satisfied with keeping it? Sucks to hear this, and the trained eye will come with time. If you want to keep it I can probably get you a rubber strap from one of my suppliers. It will be unbranded as I don't sell rep stuff, I sell straps & accessories. I'm a TD on two of the sister forums. I think you can tighten the movement tabs yourself, its super easy. Do it sooner rather than later so you dont risk chipping any dial paint. If you want to go that route, I'll send you the strap no charge. Hope that helps a bit, good luck.
  12. rolex? did you unscrew the screw-down-crown before trying to pull it out into date or time set position?
  13. hack the watch immediately to avoid damage. Simple fix if you are comfortable pulling the dial/movement. If not, then I suppose you need to contact a watch smith. If you don't know how to remove the stem, chances are you'll do it incorrectly and need your keyless works reset.
  14. Dont rule out the Abyss divers. They are incredible. SUPER reps.. Torch lume, true waterproof construction (One of the only chronos I will wear swimming), I honestly don't know the differences between gen/rep if any.
  15. I was about to buy this, but the fact that it only comes w/ swiss mvmt option prevented me from doing so.
  16. They're all exactly like that. It's perfectly fine.
  17. Peek a boo... So funny to search the internet and find the closest amount of info came from yourself a few years ago...
  18. If you've never even opened a case back, a movement swap attempt will only ruin the watch further. Sell it for parts and get another POrika, I think Reg is holding stock as we speak. If you already have watch tools sitting around and you were just waiting for an excuse to try your 1st repair, then thats different, go for it.
  19. Drank some Bolla valpolicella last night, was pleasantly surprised how tasty it was.
  20. Not sure I agree. The latest Skylands I've seen had the lume dot issue completely resolved. Also, there is the H factory release with superlume out now. I wouldn't take that watch, decide cautiously.
  21. i'm also surprised to not see any of these about.
