If you're swapping in a gen dial, make sure you have the right sized Explorer and one that is fairly gen-spec.

Word of advice - another forum I'm part of just upgraded. Learn from our mistake and don't use that bloated hunk of [censored], vBulletin. Nothing imported correctly, the tech support was terrible during the migration, and the stress it put on the servers was astronomical. We scrapped it and moved on to xenforo. Night and day as far as ease of transition. It is about 20% of the bandwidth on the servers and a much better user experience. I believe the pricing was rather similar.

Yeah, when I started my 16800/16610 build I told myself $1k, too. Ended up around $1900. And I did assembly myself.

Its a 6509, but that bracelet and font looks suspect. Would need better pictures, or better yet, a movement shot, to tell if its gen. Eh, maybe the font is OK. Looking at the photo in daylight, it looks better. Still, could use better photos to tell.

He had his Feb sale and I bought then. Nothing yet. Not a problem. I know he's knee deep in building his shop, so it's just a matter of patience right now. He's a quality guy and provides legendary straps. Besides, most things I have tracking numbers and know its coming. I kind of like the suspense of not knowing. It reminds me of the old days when you would mail order and just wait.

There are definitely flaws with my ST case, as was mentioned. Crown guards and mugs are off. But I may have those fixed down the line.

Yes it will. I'm sure Phongs are great, but let's be honest, the 5% improvement over a TC is not worth the cost on a 16610 build. One uses Phongs for historic builds, IMO.

Ah, that's right. You mentioned you had that Sean case ready to go. Looks great!
