  1. My breath and a soft cloth. I don't have any with exterior AR, so I'm not concerned with microscratches.
  2. Lighting doesn't do it justice. I need a new phone with a decent camera.
  3. Middle one has working chronos.
  4. Bummer. I was thinking of ordering my first from a TD. Oh, well. Good excuse to start another franken.
  5. If your asking about the reps of these, it's still hit or miss. If you're referring to this watch, I wouldn't worry about it...
  6. It's good for imports, bad for exports, from what I understand. We need all the help we can get with exports right now.
  7. But would you rather be raped for a rep or a gen? This is a troll. Someone in Ireland's first instinct isn't to carry a gun. People don't say, "maybe I should get muscles".
  8. This is the weirdest paranoia I've ever read about. I've never felt at risk for rape wearing a gen or a rep in some shady areas.
  9. Yknow, I see so many wristies with shaved arms. Makes me feel I'm not metro enough for this hobby sometimes, and I'm far from hairy.
  10. So I imagine this will have a trickle-down to used pieces and parts. Frankening my become pricier, too.
  11. Are you talking about a gen bezel? I think there may be a bit of work involved to get that on a TC.
  12. Cripes. I need to step up my game. Gorgeous pieces, guys!
  13. Yeah. It's one of three things, right? Retainer ring, click spring, or outer bezel. Is suppose the crystal retainer could be out of round causing it, but I find that less likely.
  14. Rolex makes great movements, so I'd imagine it's good.
  15. Pretty sure I recognize that seller. They let go of a lot of items at reasonable prices because of nicks here and there. Everything I've seen of theirs has appesred to ve gen, including your insert.
  16. I'll need some eventually. Holding loupes is awful. I have a magnifying desk lamp which is really nice, but I think it's only 3.5x, which isn't good for everything (pallet stone oiling, luming, etc).
  17. I would guess the same on assembly. My Ocean One Vintage runs at about +5sec/day out of the box.
  18. Steinhart is doing it to keep costs down. It's a clone, no doubt, but it's an avoidance measure of giving their money to the Swatch group.
  19. Ive got a replacement jewel coming. I'm also replacing the actual date wheel while I'm in there. Looking at the Yuki date finger I replaced, I can't really figure out how it worked. Now that I replaced the finger, it changes over, but not rapid. I'd imagine the date wheel itself doesn't have the grove to jump as the date spring pushes against the lever. I'm not entirely happy with the crystal height. I used a Clark 2.7 gasket at first and have gone to a 2.85, but it still seems to sit low. Both were a pain and needed a bit of sanding to get the TC retainer to fit over them. What gaskets are everyone using for TCs with gen crystals?
  20. Wait...you mean Parnis doesn't manufacture their own in-house movements?
  21. From what I've read in other peoples experiences, other bezels don't mesh well with other cases. I believe TC's midcase has a lip that will create some work on either the case or retaining ring to get it to fit if its not TC->TC. I only have one build under my belt, so I may have that info wrong, but I seem to remember scrapping the mixed-matched bezel idea pretty early.
  22. I used a TC for mine. I think you may have to work it a bit to fit a gen bezel, not sure though.
