Maybe someone who has been using Moneybookers can help. I'm trying to set up a new account in order to participate in a certain group buy, and am finding that they want to impose a $335.10 USD per 60 day period upload limit on my account. I'm trying to use a credit card for this transaction (because I refuse to give them bank account info). Is this typical and is there any way around it? I need to upload slightly more than that to participate in this buy.
Your picture links are not working. In any event I think Rob's advice is good. After asking the buyer what method his watchmaker used to determine the authenticity of the sapphire, etc., just have him send it back and then refund his money. But with that said, I'm pretty skeptical that any of the case-backs are really sapphire myself....
If I had $5K to buy a gen PAM today, right now... It'd be the PAM 89. I love the GMT, the titanium, and the anthracite dial. It's a masterpiece!
For whatever that's worth.
Oh we've got to be WELL into the 2nd year of "Operation 7753 187". Some people might say the operation is highly classified, super top secret. Others might say there is no such operation underway whatsoever...
Did you have any problem with the drilled holes breaking through on the underside of the SELs? The lug holes look great, and it almost looks like you rounded over the ends of the spring bars...
Looks great, Bazz. The comparison with the rep AR coating on the PO is very interesting!! I'd love to see a comparison to the rep coating on the Steelfish. I think the Steelfish coating is the real deal, and my only question would be how durable it is in comparison to the professional coat... Although I doubt anyone will volunteer to perform that test!!
They both drop ship. Sometimes the Chinese will ship your watch quickly, sometimes there are delays. Most of the time it's out of either of these two dealers' control.
I would expect no price difference. The difference is that (I think) they're more available than the 2824-2. SW200 is a swiss movement, and every bit as robust as the ETA based on what I've seen. The SW200 has 26 jewels vs. 25 on the 2824-2, and watches like the Oris TT1 Diver have transitioned over to the SW200 I do believe. It's probably the future for low end base movements.
